I hope Charr reads this thread and starts calling out Canelo.
Canelo vs Charr is the fight the people want

I would pick him over a prime Charr, who is garbage. I’d also pick him against a Malik Scott type. Chisora would be very interesting, but I’d pick Canelo. The likes of Parker and Usyk would probably be a bridge too far.Tevfik1907 wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 11:34![]()
No. Just because he beat an 37 years old light-heavyweight Kovalev that doesn't mean he has a chance against a heavyweight, or even a cruiserweight.
He has more than a chance against Charr. He'd beat him in one sided fashion.Tevfik1907 wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 11:34![]()

Several Heavyweights would be a bridge too far. Hell a few Light Heavyweights would be too.Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 11:54I would pick him over a prime Charr, who is garbage. I mention Scott because he’s the sort of heavyweight who doesn’t really impose his size that much and isn’t a hard puncher.leftrightleft wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:04Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 11:54I would pick him over a prime Charr, who is garbage. If only Charr fights like he doesn't know he has a tremendous weight advantage against Canelo, and if he tries to box with Canelo, instead of using his big weight to overpower him by tiring him out.gilgamesh wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:00He has more than a chance against Charr. Size alone doesn't make up for the fact that somebody is better than you in every conceivable way.
Canelo could come in weighing 168. Charr could have 70 pounds on him, and fight to the best of his ability, and he still would be doing well to even win a round.Tevfik1907 wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:19If only Charr fights like he doesn't know he has a tremendous weight advantage against Canelo, and if he tries to box with Canelo, instead of using his big weight to overpower him by tiring him out.gilgamesh wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:00He has more than a chance against Charr. Canelo said his ideal weight is 160 lbs, even light-heavy 174 lbs was exception for him.
Charr is what? 230 lbs or 240 lbs at heavyweight?
How much weight can Canelo get for heavyweight fight maximum, 190 lbs if we are generous? You realize there 40 lbs difference will be when they fight at heavyweight right?
But again, if Charr tries to box with him, he would lose. But he must out of his mind if he tries to do that when he is 40 lbs is heavier than Canelo, he can basicaly tire him out even if he wrestle with the guy in the earlier rounds by just holding him whenever they get close.
But if Canelo turns into a butterbean just for this fight, then perhaps but then he was never tested as a butterbean so we've no idea how he can fight as a butterbean![]()
No, I believe if you contact the WBA....Manuel Charr is the WBA Heavyweight Champion.
I can imagine EO short circuiting at this postgilgamesh wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:27Canelo could come in weighing 168. Again, size alone ain't gonna get it for ya. He probably wouldn't land a significant punch on Canelo. He's not anywhere near that skill level.
Come on,you know and I know that's crap, wouldn't be so bad if Charr had been active lately,Jones beating Ruiz had far more crdibility than this, and that was crap too.ldlamb wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:29No, I believe if you contact the WBA....Manuel Charr is the WBA Heavyweight Champion.
Joshua is the Super Champion.
I know what you mean about who really is the champ.....but Charr’s belt would be enough to promote the fight....and 50 years from now when they write Canelo’s obituary, it would say he was a heavyweight champion.
Does Charr have any kinda grappling skill or background? Because if not I'd say Canelo could probably whip his ass in the streets too, but he'd probably make a better go of it at least.
Nah, he's busy searching back several years to cut and paste any quotes from other posters that'll back up his statement.
i know but that is were weight will play a big factor have you ever fought some one who 19stone 6 ft 6 in a small room , i have its like being in a wachine machine , kicking hair pulling dont cut it , id go bigger man as long as he can fight
He's done that countless times before. So yeah.
I get that it’s crap....but the poster for the fight would still say for the WBA Heavyweight title.bigjack wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:34Come on,you know and I know that's crap, wouldn't be so bad if Charr had been active lately,Jones beating Ruiz had far more crdibility than this, and that was crap too.ldlamb wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:29No, I believe if you contact the WBA....Manuel Charr is the WBA Heavyweight Champion.

he's been on my ignore list for months now, life is so much better not looking at his lies
yes I agree, casuals would fall for it and they are the ones who pay the billsldlamb wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 13:03I get that it’s crap....but the poster for the fight would still say for the WBA Heavyweight title.bigjack wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:34Come on,you know and I know that's crap, wouldn't be so bad if Charr had been active lately,Jones beating Ruiz had far more crdibility than this, and that was crap too.ldlamb wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 12:29

And that would definitely would be enough to generate as much interest in the general public as most of his other options.
Mostly I just agree with the second post that this is some creative out of the box thinking,
with out the bicep injury maybe would have beenEnlightened-One wrote: ↑23 Dec 2020, 04:52Perhaps you’re right, but during June 2019, people from this forum were saying Callum Smith was far too big and good for Canelo.
