My favourite fighter. No amateur experience and didn't start boxing until his mid twenties. His first bout with Holyfield is a brilliant display of toughness and skill. He was also much shorter than Holyfield.

Gavin Rees had loads, M’Baye for the world title, stopped Derry in Sheffield, Murray the Irish lightweight are a few off the top of my head.

For me it was difficult, easier said than done keeping him at the end of your jab, and he was pretty quick with the counters, he was also built like a little tank so had good power, I was always quite tall at the weight but that was another level!

His only other stoppage loss was a corner retirement against George Foreman. He was catching Foreman with some big right hands and was never knocked down in the bout. He claimed his retirement was due to not being fully fit. It was his first bout back after the Holyfield K.O. He was also much shorter than Foreman.

The late Jimmy Cable was incredibly tall for a light-middleweight and he was beaten a few times at the weight. A Welshman by the name of Horace McKenzie took him out with a body shot but Jimmy came back to win British and European titles.

Someone posted a clip years and years ago. Looked a little like qawi but reasonably sure it wasn’t. The guy he was leathering looked to be at least a foot and a half taller.

Former light middle Jorge Castro (about 5ft 8ins) stopped legit world class cruiserweight Imanu Mayfield (about 6ft 4ins...) Mayfield might have been shot then but Castro had about 100 fights by then...
