Eubank’s his own worst enemy. He’s been moving around from promoter to promoter without ever getting any proper momentum whilst he ended ITV’s aspirations of being a proper PPV provider fairly quickly.

He should have stuck to a promoter/network, made sure he’s kept active and seen what happens. Instead he and his dad always knew best. I’m sure they earned well but I just think he could have done a lot more.

There are different levels of PPV, some only a few bucks.
As history tells us, revolution isn't necessarily for the betterment.

I know I’m exaggerating and you’re right to say that he lives the life for sure but at this stage of his career and with the profile he has he should be setting his sights higher.

I mean in his whole career how many meaningful fights against live opponents has he had, 2 or 3 ?

True enough but if Jr wants to be remembered as anything more than a pawn in his old man’s never ending quest for the limelight he needs to make fights the fans wanna see - BJS or Ryder or Williams. I wonder whether Chris Sr ever advises him to take tougher fights, the kind of fights that built his legacy.

I know that it's a hard thing to do standing up to parents, but I get the feeling that Eubank Jr listens too much to what his dad thinks. Sr. has, shall we say, an eccentric world view.

Muratov is rated 12 at Super Middle in Germany. It's a late change of opponent so they were probably backed into a corner, but he's miles away from giving Eubank a credible test.

Wonder if Elbir looked too good in training? Seem to be a lot of last minute Covid pull outs
