One of the judges who gave Warrington the Galahad fight. It's a shame he didn't seem to notice the lubed headwork.

I don't think for a second that Warrington tried to get the fight stopped through an eye injury.

BUT

He had just felt the power of Lara who threw a great short right (even cheerleader Andy Lee called it) and definitely went in with his head from the crouching position.

It's worked out very well for Warrington.

the visible smudge of lube on top of his fully lubed up head and what transpired in that ring speaks for itself.

you don't have to be a frikkin' genius to guess what their intention was.

you don't put lube ON TOP OF THE FIGHTER'S HEAD to protect him from cutting in the fvcking face.

those butts were clearly intentional. they wanted a way out. embarrassing.

the biased commentary was disgraceful.

to not let lara speak his piece, even more.

corrupt shitshow.

I dunno... :maybe:

You weren't the only one to say this at the time, but I thought it looked like a close, hard fight was warming up.
Warrington with the workrate and Lara with the power - as you'd expect.

I didn't see any desperation to find a way out at all ?

Agreed that it wasn’t an obvious desperation move, and I’d even be prepared to give the benefit of the doubt and say it wasn’t a purposefully deliberate act. But I honestly believe it was a subconscious decision from Warrington to avoid the humiliation of another beating, this time in front of his home fans.

IMO Josh's main problem was that by being more cautious he would have given Lara the initiative to start backing him up.

Josh ain't no cutesy mover or counterpuncher, so all I could see happening from the way he started out, was him ceding ground so Lara would walk him down, and getting broken down from it.

Josh is a swarmer, I just don't think he has the skillset to win a fight against Lara the way he opened up. sooner or later whether trying to take the front foot, or just in desperation when he was getting backed up or on the ropesetc, he would have had to start letting his hands go a lot more just to stop himself getting ran out of the ring. IMO

There’s been some bad takes from Warrington’s camp & a few fans but also from people going the other way & making out it was only a matter of time before Warrington was hurt & stopped.

Warrington got clipped a couple of times but he’s going to, it’s his fight against a good opponent with similar dimensions to himself but the difference was he wasn’t jumping into shots & he was getting his guard up & wasn’t getting hit repeatedly. Still too early to tell how the fight would’ve gone but he was nowhere near as reckless as the first fight.
Fair assessment some posters are getting blurred by their hatred for jw and his fans.

I've watched loads of boxing and never before seen a trainer greasing the entire head.
Warrington has laughed about his butting in the past.
When has a taller boxer ever nutted a smaller man 5 times in 4 and a half minutes?

I wonder if Bunce was able to remain objective covering the fight between "Lara" and "Josh."

What’s he on about you have Josh’s’ stats? The stats of how many times he butted Lara?

You can actually see the blobs of lube on his head. An absolute joke. If he gets that rematch against Lara he’ll but that lubed head into orbit.

I have to agree that warrington uses his head a lot in an obvious and aggressive way that the ref should have stopped .
It was evident in lara 2 and also at the wknd vs martinez.
shame as when he was letting his hands go was hurting the spaniard but once the blood was flowing in his eyes there was little prospect for him .
Lara will KO him if they fight again I am sure .

And the ref sent Kiko back to his corner to clean up his face.
