Then the nature of this fight understandable. This gives Davis extra-credit, cause he controlled the bout.

Garcia was jobbed against Peter Crouch/Fundora. Fix was in for the PBC guy with commentary and judging.

That's right, Fundora didn't win, especially that wide like on the scorecards.peter barlow wrote: ↑06 Dec 2021, 06:57 Garcia was jobbed against Peter Crouch/Fundora. Fix was in for the PBC guy with commentary and judging.
Also, I'd give Derevyanchenko a win over Adames.

Too much bias to the American/A fighter on these shows. Also Showtime still bragging about Tanks WBA regular belts still as if it's a real belt
Very close fight but the judges cards were likely done last week

Cruz looks a little bit deranged.

Tank claims he injured it; Is it broken though ..
Davis didnt look comfortable in there from very early on. He wasn`t his usual brash self being bulled about in there.
Maybe we just seen why he isnt being matched with the very top guys in his division.

Re: Gevonta Davis v Isaac Cruz Sun night,
Just watched this card in full, pretty entertaining show. Ramirez v Marriaga ended up fairly one sided but Miguel kept trying to win despite being picked off by the better combinations of Ramirez, fun fight. Derevyanchenko v Adames was pretty action packed too until Adames began to hold a lot late on, got away with barely a warning somehow but he boxed effectively from both stances early, some great exchanges. Poor old Sergiy doesn't often get the rub of the green!
Thought 118-110 in particular was a piss poor scorecard from Lou Moret in favour of Fundora v Garcia, probably the least entertaining fight of the main cast, styles and dimensions didn't merge at all well. Garcia tried his best to counter the freakish size and reach disadvantage but maybe could have tried to work the body a little more, headhunted too much at times.
Cruz gave a solid account of himself v Davis but didn't quite have the range of offensive tools required, Tank was quite discliplined defensively for the most part and made Cruz miss quite often, his handspeed at times is tremendous but Isaac showed a good chin. 115-113 was fair for me.

Re: Gevonta Davis v Isaac Cruz Sun night,
Not sure if it was broken or not, haven't seen anything about it today but you could tell he was struggling with it quite badly after R11, looked in a fair bit of pain in the corner. Cruz did make him work though yeah, strong little fcuker.tonyevs wrote: ↑06 Dec 2021, 10:24
