I can’t see any way AJ and (in particular) Eddie walk away from the sport.

I’m sure Eddie plans to be around for decades. You can tell he just loves being around it - it is who he is.

I think boxing must be quite a frustrating sport to be involved with. He had Liam Smith/Vargas planned for this cancelled due to covid. Kept the show on with a really good super fly fight and now that’s off too due to covid.

He’s in charge of the darts and snooker now too so it would never surprise me if he just walked away. I think we’re a few years away from that though.

I dunno, out of boxing, darts and snooker, it's the boxing he seems most passionate about.
It was the boxing he took on first, willingly. And its the boxing you always see him at ringside - sometimes wearing his heart on his sleeve too. I've not seen him at all emotional at the darts or snooker, but he was visibly upset when Whyte got last knocked out to give an example.

Yeah - I don’t see it happening in the next few years but I also don’t see him doing as long as Frank or Bob have. He’s all over the place (assume he’ll be in the States for his US show this week) and he’ll burn himself out or have issues at this rate. Not only are they trying to do 40-50 boxing shows a year in various different markets, he’s got the other sports (albeit with experienced people already looking after the day-to-day stuff) to get involved with. It’s not like he’s in FW’s position and does one U.K. show a month on average.
