Come on fellas, he sounds like a good guy.

Age 24 he decides to go into boxing promoting and immediately signs a couple of world champions.

A year later he negotiates a TV deal with channel 5 before signing a deal with Sky sports a year later.

Nothing suspicious here, any one could do it.

It might sound cheesy, but I have a really bad vibe about him.

I’m still on the fence with Ben.

I liked what he said about working with the BBBC to improve the quality after the joke of the Taylor/Catterall scoring. Nothing seemed to come of it though.

I like that he seems to be happy working with other promoters. However they didn’t really have many other options for Parker re: Joyce and I think all of the other times have been on Sky shows.

He said that it should be more about the fighters and less about the surrounding characters (digging out Eddie) yet is now on SSN finally answering the question we all wanted answering - what’s his favourite holiday.

I also didn’t particularly like that video of him listing the topics that people were banned from asking about.

I’ve been ok with Boxxer’s output this year. Nothing special but not bad either. He does go overboard about things and likes to give the impression the surge in women’s boxing is down to him, but all promoters go overboard.

Needs more time before I can properly make a decision whether he’s someone I like or not.

I've just deleted a despicable post and will be writing to the culprit later.

In the meantime, the thread will be locked.

Thread unlocked.

I have now contacted the offending poster and informed him that he needs to issue an apology. If no apology is posted on here by tomorrow morning a ban will be issued. No ifs, no buts.

But for now, back on topic please boys.

Thank you.

We were in Europe back then and now in League 1 so I don’t feel comfortable sharing that information just yet.

Yeah, bro.
You remember the Villa-Bolton semi-final in League cup.

Bolton smashed first leg 5-2 and Villa won 2nd leg 2-0. Wasn't enough though. :verysad:

Very good games both of them.
