Fq me.
Fournier keeps referring to himself as a ‘real boxer’ despite buying wins in Dominican Republic and accepts that he is, ahem, ‘9-0’, meaning that he accepts the removal from his record of the contest in which he ‘won’ a belt as he was supposed to be serving a drugs ban.
As I imagine most people on here feel, this stuff shouldn’t be in any of the boxing sections.
Disagree.
It IS boxing.
I watch Prem, Intenational and UCL footy, I also watch Aberystwyth Town vs Connah's Quay.
It wouldn’t do for everyone to be the same.
In case my point wasn’t clear enough, whilst the word professional is absent, this is largely a forum for professional boxing. Amateur boxing is covered in a separate section and I would prefer unlicensed boxing to be kept out of the pro sections too.

And those lads playing Welsh Premier league football have been playing it all their lives, with plenty of them at a professional level and many more through professional academies.
Terrible comparison.

My eldest's teacher plays for Aber Town and I don't see he's so much better at footy than KSI is @ boxing !
Point taken, tho' (I DO know it's a bag of shite), but I'll watch this as I do have most of the others....

KSI has revealed that he’s suffered a nasty eye injury in training for his fight against Joe Fournier
He said the injury came from a head clash in sparring
Now, KSI has returned to YouTube and revealed his latest setback – a gruesome injury to his left eye.
“Mind the eye,” he said as he instantly addressed his altered facial appearance at the start of his new video.
“I did it in sparring, just a clash of heads.
“But yeah, training camp is going well, obviously I took a little break [from social media].
“I feel like it was good for me, I was really able to just step back and reflect on my whole life, my whole situation.
“Because I feel like I’ve just been going at 100mph in general, especially this year.
“So much has happened, I still haven’t taken in that I knocked out FaZe Temperrr in the first round.
“I wasn’t really able to take in that whole moment – fighting at Wembley Arena and everyone going crazy.
“I’ve done so many things after that so I haven’t been able to settle and take it all in.
“I think it was good to really just step back and reflect on my life a little bit.
“I just wanted to talk on my own platform and let you know how I feel with everything that’s gone on.
“From the Wade situation, to me saying a racial term, I’ve been messing up a lot, I’ve taken a lot of Ls.
“So I took this break to really just educate myself and really just improve myself as a human being.”
In cricket loads of people would say we are playing the pakis. It's not an insult, same as when we say playing the crims or they say playing the poms or the Saffas.
Why does everything have be turned into a racial affront?

"Paki acquired offensive connotations in the 1960s when used by British tabloids"
Understandably, not everyone using the word means offense. There was a recent thread o think Carlos started on the OT, where we discussed corner shops and chippies.

I don’t know how old you are but growing up in the 80’s it was already obvious to the majority what kind of a word it is and why it was (mostly) used. It’s rather disingenuous to claim to be unaware of its meaning today…

If I say I'm off to the chinky is that racist?
Wow, really?
You are actually dealing with idiots here.

I always thought racism or being racist was the intention of the words one used.
Genuinely I wouldn't have any malicious intent saying "we are playing the pakis" it would simply mean " we are playing Pakistan"
Obviously I know thr word can be used in a negative way to cause offence, but in this context I don't see it as causing offence.
I guess Poms, crims, seppos, taffs, jocks, micks, frogs, eyeties and ruskies are all off limits as well.
I will update my vocabulary accordingly

I think that's a great idea, go to a pub in Merthyr and go around calling them all 'taff' and make sure someone is filming the reaction to it and post it on here.
You forgot 'Paddy' and I suggest Derry would be a great place to try that little social experiment out.

Yep.
You learn something new everyday.
Next you'll be telling me men can decide to identify as women, go into women's toilets for a slash with young girls around and we all think it's perfectly acceptable behaviour
