Re: Tyson Fury drunk and booted from bar

I saw on Insta today Glen McCrory, who looked pissed calling out John Fury and another bloke. Quite sad in all honesty.
Not at 35 with a wife and kids. Perhaps that makes me boring, I don't know.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 03:28 Whatever way you look at it, it's not a good sign.
I'm sure Tyson is struggling with his first loss, and he's already got addiction issues.
Being so hammered you can't even stand up is never a good thing, let's be honest. We may have all done it, but none of us as far as I am aware professional athletes at the very top of our sport.
If he's serious about winning the rematch, he will need to get all of this behind him.
Every additional day he spends doing this, is another wasted day in camp trying to undo the damage.
I don't think I've ever been kicked out of somewhere actually, but I've been just as intoxicated, if not more so, and probably will do it again here in a few months....and I'm 37Lenny Cravats wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 12:28Not at 35 with a wife and kids. I love a drink and a dance, I'll get a bit wobbly, but falling over drunk and getting kicked out of venues? Left that behind by my mid-twenties.
Speak for yourself. No matter how drunk I got, I would NEVER go to Morecambe. Inexplicable behaviour.
Joshua beating Dubois isnt a cert. If Dubes hits Joshua early then things could get very interesting.joshj909 wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 11:11 I don't think this will lead to the cancellation of the rematch, if it does, do we have to watch Usyk batter Dubois again? Pretty poor mandatory from the IBF if that's the case. I think most of us are expecting Joshua (or someone else) to beat Dubois before he gets the shot but it would likely get called if the Fury fight is cancelled.
Wtf? Surely just ‘banter’tigermoth87 wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 15:08
Not if the tweet from Shane Fury from last year is true. It was deleted pretty quickly, but he made a joke about Fury being unable to get it up, Big John replied saying that sort of thing should be kept off twitter (spelt incorrectly, I recall he spelt it Twatter) and Shane deleted it
I don't think I've ever been that drunk in my life, my point is I've been hammered.Lenny Cravats wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 12:28Not at 35 with a wife and kids. Perhaps that makes me boring, I don't know.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 03:28 Whatever way you look at it, it's not a good sign.

He has claimed he is bipolar, without any evidence. I think it's unlikely, as he would be medicated, and those medications would have to all be declared.ALI wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 16:40 Its difficult to know what to make of this. If he has just had a few too many on a night out, i see no problem, though admittedly, its not a good look. I'm a family man but i like a good bevvy now and again to let off some steam, if i had been in a long camp like him and involved in such a huge mega event, i'd likely be letting loose after it was over with too. I very rarely get legless these days though, only when i've had too much to drink and smoke too much reefer can i get into this sort of state.
He has not been heard of since the defeat to Usyk so we don't really know how he is taking it mentally. He is known to be bipolar, i just hope he has not fallen into a depressive episode and is self destructing, again.
Yeah but a long time off the sauce, people lining drinks up for you, not knowing your limits, trying to drink as many as you can, esp if there was no sniff, and wallopjamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 17:33I don't think I've ever been that drunk in my life, my point is I've been hammered.Lenny Cravats wrote: ↑11 Jun 2024, 12:28Not at 35 with a wife and kids.
