Claressa Shields considers leaving USA after doping acquittal
Claressa Shields says she’s considering walking away from the United States after being cleared of doping.
‘The GWOAT’ was left contemplating a future ban when temporarily suspended by the Michigan Unarmed Combat Commission for a positive marijuana swab test. After protesting her innocence, Shield got vindication this week as it was proved second-hand smoke was the culprit during her February 2 heavyweight title fight.
Shields is now free to resume her career. She said, “Officially unsuspended! But you are all a little quiet!
“You all were real loud about me ‘supposedly’ smoking marijuana and being suspended! No worries! And still an Undisputed heavyweight champ!
“I have the Order to prove it!!! I’m about to go live on Instagram!”
The undisputed champion then revealed her next move could be to another country.
“After dealing with what I’ve been dealing with, I’m considering moving out of the country, starting a boxing program in Africa, and opening a school for underserved kids.
“I’m really not with the BS the USA is having. There is too much racism and sexism, and even though everyone yells ‘equality!’
