The Wilder fights haven't aged well, and Tyson could easily have been stopped in two of them.
His win against Klitschko is better, but not by much.
So its just that, really. Fury's best win is better than Joshua's. Joshua has a deeper record.

Head to head, i'd say Fury. In terms of legacy? Not so clear. Could be persuaded either way. Edging towards Fury, for the simple reason that, at the time, Wlad was just marching through everyone.

Fury also has Chis 3x which isn't bad, and the Whyte victory to match Joshua's.

Does Joshua have any controversial stoppage in his favor because Tyson Fury had that one against some unbeaten guy Najic or something. They both had dropped each other and the referee stopped it while the other man was still very much in the fight.

Joshua ducked Wilder and snickers bar Andy Ruiz Jr DESTROYED Femi in America - AJ never returned, understandable when the US brand was broken for good lol. Tyson Fury all the way.

I think you've got to give it to Fury.

It's very close actually.

They both have wins over Wlad which is the biggest win either of them has, and Joshua has a win over Parker who has win over Wilder.

Wilder is Fury's best win other than Wlad, and Joshua beat a guy that beat Wilder.

I think Fury has the nod, but he's only ahead by inches. If he never fights, and Joshua gets a few more noteworthy wins than Joshua overtakes him for sure.

My favorite way to settle this issue though would be just to see them fight it out, and settle it once and for all.

Are these 2 locked in as 2/3 or 3/2 behind usyk for this era? or can parker overtake them with a couple more choice wins (he obviously could over take them if he beat usyk, but assuming parker and usyk never fight can he overtake with a few more good wins?)

The Joshua/Fury era is already over. They're just the old past it guys of the division now. Parker overtaking them now would only be regarding the coming post-Usyk era.

The AJ/fury era is kinda over... but parker is from that era (obviosly theresno clear way of defining eras), if parker beat wardly, DDD and kabayal for example i would consider him above fury and AJ all time (and they are from the same era).... now thats a tought streak of fights to get let alone win.... so its hypothetical.

Wardley, Dubois, Kabayel, Zhang and Wilder better than Klitschko, Povetkin, Whyte and Parker? Parker also has worse unavenged losses against Whyte, Joyce and Joshua himself. Whereas Joshua avenged his against Ruiz, it's just the loss against Dubois in his twilight years.

Either way, Parker would be winning those fights when a new era has begun. He'd be the best of a different era despite having had fights in the previous era.

Didn't Russ/Porky's corner question why isn't AJ fighting this year, hinting at a silent secret ban or maybe AJ has well and truly lost the plot. His recent IG post about Fury seems to be a distraction rather then a statement and could well be Ai created.

Fury legacy is better. He dethroned Klitschko, he defeated Wilder, against whom everybody was waiting Joshua to fight first. Fury also gave more competetive bouts to Usyk.
