Though after reviewing the tape, I was wrong... The shot is near the ear, and though it does look like he's thinking about something, he looks temporarily paralyzed, unable to get up.
Regardless of details that are not important at this time, let's move on to one that is...
Roy Jones should not be fighting.
I feel bad for Roy, after watching my tapes (well, DVD's)... There are so many events where Jones is commentating, and they keep replaying him getting knocked out.
This kind of hit to his pride is probably why he's scheduled to fight Tarver, when he should just stay retired, and commentate... Which I think he does a fantastic job at.
Roy could get seriously hurt fighting Tarver again, I would not like to see that happen.
Does Roy Jones Jr V's Tarver 3 interest anyone ???

Yeah I'll be watching ( Sky are you listening? ) - it's a strange one to look at in terms of a trilogy, where usualy the first two fights are pretty close:
First fight - Jones is a big favorite
Second fight - Jones is a slight favorite ( ?? )
Third fight - Jones is a big underdog
Talk about reversals of fortune!
Still, I give Jones a shot here - he's an all time great, and those type of fighters can come back from devastating knockouts, when truly motivated ( Duran for instance ) which no doubt Roy will be.
I can see Tarver hurting the aging Jones, and maybe knocking him over, but Roy might just pull it out.
Take everything away, and he still has a punch that can stop heavyweights in their tracks. Yes he's a vunerable fighter these days, but still a dangerous one.
I've never been a big fan of Roy, but somehow I'd like to see him pull this off - for old times sake.

Duran did get stopped, but only once, and that by Thomas Hearns, one of the hardest punchers P4P in history. He was never stopped again, and he certainly wasn't stopped by a pressure fighter like Johnson.
Duran also had a far better all around game than Jones which allowed him to continue at top flight well into his late 30's and beyond.
