Totally agree with you about Hamsho. I loved his second fight with Hagler, he tried to roughhouse Marvin, so Hagler just knocked him out early.

Yea, I think someone who loves to watch great defensive fighters describes a higher level boxing fan.....unfortunately Im not quite there yet.

Although a pretty good straight ahead brawler in his prime, in his later career he basically leaned against the ropes and tried to counter-punch. He fairly effective at it but it was about as exciting as hearing my brother-in-law talking business at Thanksgiving. His title defense against Eddie Mustafa Muhammad was so boring even the announcers said so and when Victor scored a flash knockdown one of the announcer said it didn't seem very important.
