For a long time I'm pretty sure that Al Foreman held the record when he knocked out Ruby Levine which was something like 1 1/2 seconds...11 1/2 with the count, we have it listed as 11 seconds here on boxrec, which may be right. With the quick stoppages and TKO's of modern boxing the result is probably around 2 seconds, but for an actual knockout I would say that Al Foreman holds the record.
Quickest Knockout ever:
Ever Beleño stopped Guillermo Salcedo in 5 seconds on Friday 16 September 1994. The shortest KO record in the world.
Ricky Parkey stopped Broderick Mason in 8 seconds on Tuesday 11 December 1984. At the time when this bout happened this was the quickest KO ever.
The quickest knockout in recorded history, including the full 10 count from the ref, was a welterweight fight from 1946, when Al Couture knocked out Ralph Walton in 10.5 seconds.

They both need revising and editing as well as adding other fighters that I have yet to list, but below is what I have...first most total fights...and as always...the format here will probably be terrible. This is a fairly old list...I haven't added anything to it in a couple of years.

Now this is just consecutive wins from the start of a career...otherwise...most bout without a loss from the start of a career and I know that this format will be horrible, so if you need anything to be explained about the list just let me know:

Matty when someone of Martin's stature as a record-keeper and boxing historian speaks you do the sensible thing: unless you have something useful to contribute you listen up and remain quiet.Mattyp151 wrote:I know the records from then probably are complete, but they're probably close, and he fought NO ONE.Martin Sosa Cameron wrote:The Argentinian lightweight Jimmy Wilde (Moisés Ortenberg), unbeaten in all his professional career
42 (1935-1943) Jimmy Wilde (Argentina)
Continue, querido Martin
Was my statement incorrect then? It wasn't a comment against anything Martin said. Merely stating an opinion.Broncano wrote:Matty when someone of Martin's stature as a record-keeper and boxing historian speaks you do the sensible thing: unless you have something useful to contribute you listen up and remain quiet.Mattyp151 wrote:I know the records from then probably are complete, but they're probably close, and he fought NO ONE.Martin Sosa Cameron wrote:The Argentinian lightweight Jimmy Wilde (Moisés Ortenberg), unbeaten in all his professional career

Mattyp,
I'm happy: you know the record of the Argentinian Jimmy Wilde, and I'm very happy too of all you know of the rich Argentinian boxing history, your opinion is original: (JW) "he fought NO ONE", but, please, remember his two drews with Domingo "Mingo" Sciaraffia, former Argentinian Champion, an exceptional stylist, an anticipation of the great Nicolino Locche; the win of JW over Anselmo Casares or when he scored a TKO over the Italian-French-Argentinian Jean Joup. And, when a boy fought no one, but in all his pro career of more than 40 bouts he never lost, it's very significant. Your opinion, is "opinion" or irony?
I can't understand why, but you wrote another times in the Forum letters to me owith ambiguous intentions, a gratuitous hostility disguised of opinion; why?

Mattyp,
I love boxing, and BoxRec is the best and greatest site of this sport in the world, and I believe you love pugilism, too. In this moment, there are in the BoxRec Forum a total of 609490 articles, and 5009 registered users, it's easy: an average of 122 articles for each user, and you had more than 12000, this is a good demonstration of your interest, then, we may and must to think distincts and opposing ideas, this is very correct, we aren't in the nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, but, please, with all the respect of the free men; best regards,
Martín
