IMO that was an exceptional fight. Superb action and high drama.

Not mostly a puncher at all, he was a hell of a puncher at 122 but he can really box. I think he'd have beaten Harrison.

Harrison's strength could rough him up and change that though.

The problem is the next time we get a Heavyweight prospect with World ambitions I have a horrible feeling that half the UK and most the World are just going to say "Awh, I bet he will just be another Audley Harrison".

Which is of course unfair on the 'new kid on the blocl'. To date A Force may unknowingly made life tough for our next Heavyweight hopefull.

Are there any UK heavyweight prospects on the horizon? I know David Dolan turned pro this year but he should be a Cruiserweight he's too small for heavyweight.

I think the best hope at heavy will be a cruiser moving up. Probably Haye because he is the one who has talked of it the most.

No current UK heavys are really European class let alone world class.

That's a great fight right there. Barrios is another of those unbelievably tough and dangerous Argentinian fighters that they keep on churning out.

I seriously dont think Haye has the chin for Heavyweight. Maybe at domestic level but beyond that very doubtful.

Anyone know of any young amateur superheavies who might make some noise? Is it just me is the whole amateur scene a bit devoid of stars at the moment? Doesn't appear to be anyone who might make a big splash in the pros.
