Yes, Jordan has an excellent jab and should use it more. His coach/dad tells him to use it more all the time! Thanks for the comments. Will you be at the Silver Gloves? I think there will be some excellent open bouts not to mention all the great junior bouts. Who IS Mr. Detroit?

Hi Brad. Remember a win is a win!!!
Was your bout part of the state open tournament? If so, don't you have to compete in the box-offs during the Silver Gloves weekend.
I thought there were 3 guys left in the 141# class? Is that correct? If so, do you have the bye or not? Come say hi during the weekend. I'm sure you saw me in the corner during Jordan's bout and know what I look like and know that I'm pretty hard to miss - LOL.

We obviously had a pretty good turnout for our LBC open tournament when we have box-offs in the 141, 152, 165 and 201 pound classes.

I was disappointed that Mike Wilson didn't perform better. Luis Del Valle won his bout, but the guy he defeated was blitzed the day before by the Italian by a score of 18-1. I think Del Valle's performance was very good as were those of Dargan, Estrada and Downs.

201+ lbs/91+kg: Bence Buket, HUN, dec. Mike Wilson, Central Point, Ore./USA, 23-14

Just looking at the "accepted scores," Del Valle did enough to pull it out; I have no idea what kind of a boxer Sandon is, but an "outscored" is always good; Estrada and Downs did well; the boxer who lost did so rather convincingly. Again, I wasn't there to see the action so the scores may not reflect what actually happened.
