Kovit right you are....we should be hearing from granberry about this agregious error very soon. Thankfully Kovit is one contributor who pays close attention to detail when posting and is not swayed from stating actual facts on the basis of powerful personal passions and diversionary dramas.
Buzz--
This thread is on the topic
EXAMPLES in the history of boxing where two fighters fought each other TWICE for the same title?
Do YOU have anything to offer on that topic?
Of course not.

Perverted wheelchair-riding Crankberry should stop PMing me and, instead, send his messages of love and sodomy to someone who might appreciate them ie Boxbuzz.

Mentally ill Collins leaves his stench on whatever he contacts.
Can the boxrec moderators remove his filth from this thread?

All good ones.
The list in boxing history is long,
and includes many significant fights.

How about Ezzard Charles and Jersey Joe Walcott? Didn't they fight 4 times for the heavyweight title?

Sam Langford and Harry Wills fought for the Colored Heavyweight Championship against each other a time or two, and Jack Britton and Kid Lewis fought for the World Welterweight Championship against each other six times.
Get out! You're pulling my leg.

Buzz,
Mike Weaver beat the hell out of Larry Holmes.
Holmes himself admitted it in the interview after the fight.
Don King's referee called a knockdown of Holmes by Weaver a "slip."
The same referee stopped the fight in Holmes' favor in a disputed ending.
Holmes never gave Weaver a return fight for the title.
Whether you like it or not.
LOL
Not sure if the ending was disputed, the knockdown in the 11th pretty much finished the fight and Weaver was gone when he answered the bell for the 12th, then was propped up against the ropes taking shots, you could blame the ref for not calling the knockdown but not the stoppage IMHO.
