He still hasn't beaten anyone since 1998. 10 years ago, and BEFORE he lost to Naz!

Why is Napa at number 30?

WTF has Tony Oakey/Pryce/Barnes/Johanssen/Thaxton/Mitchell/Jennings done that is better?

The man is class, just won the3 lonsdale belt outright.

Os achievement alone - that s worthy of a higher place on te list.

How many Lonsdale belt holders on that list? outright holders?

I'd have Napa much higher as well, I'd also put Colin Lynes top 12.

Speaking of Lonsdale belts, why have Hatton and Witter got Lonsdale belts? Hatton had 1 British title bout and Witter had 2, I thought you had to have 3 bouts to receive one for keeps.

Robin Hood aka Ricky Hatton can not have a Lonsdale belt to keep if he ha 1 fight - but Witter was given his because NO ONE wanted to fight him!

In the old days it was 3 bouts to win the belt outright, but because of the cost of the belt, they changed to 4 fights.

Witter has always scared his opponents.

Napa had not won the Lonsdale belt outright when I posted this list, he will be a good number of places higher next month.

I believe there are 9. Did Harrison win the Lonsdale belt outright?

Witter was way too good to fight.

If Bosworth RAN - then the next availabkle person should get the shot.

People pulled out left right and centre against Witter, just did not want to know!

The point is, THEY ALL RAN from Witter so he was given the belt.

Eastman had the same problem - but he won it outright anyway.

Hatton could have defended agaisnt Witter, BUT HE WAS/IS SCARED?

Bosworth wanted to fight but the BBBC said no chance, tbh Witter should have vacated, kept the European and let Bozzy have his shot..he just kept it to be a coont!!

I was actually a bit taken aback after Rhodes beat Woolcombe.
Ryan WASNT allowed to take the belt away, but could have it on loan for photos !!!!
Obviously he has one for keeps, but we were hoping he could take this one home to make a nice pair of book ends !!

Perhaps, Hatton was given a Lonsdale belt by the board because of his achievements in boxing.

Fwank gave it to him,he did not win it = means F ALL!

Fwank owns the board so he must have told them to give it to him.

DG,
Whilst I do respect your views, and apperciate you are running a campaign where Ricky is concerned, you do talk bollocks at times.
Wazza doesn't own the board.
If that were the case, every British Champ would be SN Promoted !

You do know that Fwanky bailed the board out Financially re: the Watson situation.

That is what I meant by saying Fwanky owns the board - of course he does not officially own the board, but what other situation do you know where the governing body is rescued by a 'member'?

Take into account the vested interest angle and you can see where it looks a bit iffy?

Does Bruno have a Lonsdale belt? NO!

Does Benn? NO!

Fwanky 'owns' the board and got Hatton the belt as a bargainingt tool to keep Hatton on board - a Gift!

DG,
You need to select your words carefully mate.
Of course I am aware of the situation when the board was on the verge of going bust.
However - there is a world of difference between saying "a bit iffy" and he owns the board !
Jesus, some lawyers would fuckin love taking you to the cleaners !!!!!
