Haye fights in 2 weeks time against Monte Barrett - yep okay its a fight Haye simply has to win and win well if people are going to take him seriously with regards to being a genuine Heavyweight contender - but in addition Haye in my view has proved an awful lot of people wrong with achievements thus far - former undisputed Cruiserweight Champion Of The World - and lets face it who gave him a chance of doing that after the Carl Thompson fight??

Haye has always stated a wish to achieve something BIG in the heavyweight ranks - does the forum no longer consider the heavyweight division as the "glamour" division and thus they are not interested what happens here? okay the heavyweight division has lacked the excitement and many will argue there are very few genuine world class fighters in that division - but where I fail to understand the lack of enthusiasm is that Haye is a brit and for Haye to become a serious contender in the heavyweight ranks - it will do wonders for British Boxing.

Calzaghe could be about to retire. Hatton for me will lose against Malanaggi and thus British Boxing in my view is looking for a new star - its not going to be Amir Khan - no matter who his trainer is going to be - the next time he steps into world class and is tapped on the whiskers he will be visiting the canvas - so who is left?? - Carl Froch and David Haye.

I honestly believe as boxing fans we should get behind both fighters.

Does the board honestly believe Monte Barrett has no chance against Haye?? - My view is if the fight goes beyond 4 rounds the fight could become very interesting.

fornicating HILARIOUS

KG - you will spoil things for every one else - I simply will not put up with your sh*t - the rules were there for everyone to see - in addition the thread with the round 1 fixtures were up and the deadline given for everyone to see.

Any entries after 7 will NOT be allowed.

KG - if you do not like it - f*ck off.

You have gone out of your way to sabotage every thread I have participated in and you mock in anyway you can - its time to stop - if the moderators do not stop you and your pathetic and childish ways - I have no option to put a stop to things myself.

I am here to discuss boxing - take your playground antics elsewhere - you are spoiling things for others who wish to discuss boxing.

Funny, funny stuff Spud

Im glad you are here to discuss boxing, and not your current employer, Hayemaker Promotions....

Bless you KG - sorry you have to persist with your "stalking ways" - unfortunately I do not drop anchor in poo bay otherwise I would have been flattered at your consitent attention towards me.

At least when you are pestering me you are not boring the forum in other threads with your all too predictable one liners which were once funny - a bit like your "spud baiting" - its all too predictable - it is all too boring.

KG, while we all know the 'history' with Spud, I'm glad he's posting again as at least he's passionate and proactive - witness the boxing prediction league.
You, by contrast, have verged on becoming 'troll' in the past few months. I always enjoyed your dry sense of humour in the past and when you make the effort to actually write about boxing you make some great posts, but you seem to have abandoned it all lately in your one-man quest to 'put right' what you perceive to be the wrongs of posters... the reality, though, is that you've become a heavy-handed bore, which strikes me as somewhat ironic given that's the thrust of your ongoing jibes at Spud.
I'd love you to surprise us all and post something which suggests you still actually enjoy the sport... or does such an outrageous suggestion ensure that I'll now be the one on the receiving end of your 'humour'

I judge from the horrific display of "chewing gum with his mouth open on TV" we were subject to on Saturday that you are working for Hayemaker

Something new posters may want to bear in mind next time Spud give us his "objective opinions" on David Haye..
Well I don't want to be starting anything, but it did sink home oh thats why the random Haye threads have started to appear on the forum.

Goz,

You have a right to your opinion - no problems. :TU:

I would rather look at things from another angle - I have found it an absolute privelege to have worked for the variety of promoters I have - I have picked up some invaluable experience and know what I am doing at a show to make things run smoothly.

I have especially enjoyed working with Fight Academy and there is no fallout as far as I am concerned - I have found Dennis Hobson to be a top man and a thoroughly decent guy - I will always regard Dennis as a pal and would love to work on his shows in the future, if of course they need me to.

A situation arose which to a degree I manufactured where I was given the chance to work on a one off basis for Hayemaker Boxing - As a boxing fan there was no choice to make, and more importantly as a person who does not have a pot to p*ss in, from a monetary angle I also snapped the hand off Adam Booth and David Haye - I have to say here I thoroughly enjoyed working on the Haye/Barrett show - from all angles it was brilliant to meet people who want to do things differently - enough said - hopefully Hayemaker Boxing will choose to use me in the future - if they don't there won't be any grumbles from me as I consider myself as already mentioned on numerous occasions as the luckiest boxing fan alive - I always work on the basis whatever show I am working on as if it is my last show - I work dam hard but I also thoroughly enjoy myself.

Goz - you and others have a right to have a pop at me - made some big clangers in the past - but unfortunately what I find very sad it is you and a few others who can't seem to let things go - let bygones be bygones for f*ck sake - I have never met most of you and if I did you would find I would be a gentleman, shake your hand, apologise for the antics on here and if there was a chance I would buy you a beer - just the way I am - and lets be honest here the abuse I have had to take on this forum is more than you and many others could manage in your lifetimes - I am not crying about - my feelings are the past is the past lets move on.

Respect to you and my other forum foes - lets move on!!! :TU:

Regards
