He's failed as a pro. End of. No need to keep regurgitating what happened 8 years ago in the ams.
he beat the people in front of him end of story.
Are you really shocked at the criticism he receives?
Audley promised a lot, then failed to deliver in abject fashion.
It wouldn't be so bad if he was a bit more humble & realistic (99.99% of all boxers have lost); even now he insults those who dare to criticise him & that is just plain dumb on his part.
You cannot be a boxer if you are terrified of being hit; you cannot win fights if you don't throw punches & you cannot come back from adversity if you are mentally weak & have no stamina.
I hope that clears up why people are so critical of him.
Well said. Audley fully deserves the flak for his arrogance and delusions of grandeur.

Love him or hate him, Audley being in the other corner gets the fight talked about in the press -- ever see anyone drumming up interest in Micky Steeds or Mar Krence? Or even Michael Sprott or Matt Skelton. Nope.
Audley always has the pantomime villain intrigue with the public.
He got outworked, big deal. He gave the fight away. He hardly got flattened in 51 seconds by the first guy who came at him swinging like other Olympians.
first guy? Harsh on Limond, Gomez, Earl and a few others.

Plus by winning the Commonwealth title, Khan had already eclipsed Audley's professional achievements before his defeat to Prescott.

Harrison should seriously consider boxing Sexton for Southern Area title.
At the moment he's running the risk of leaving the sport without a title to his name (WBF doesn't count as practically anyone can get their hands on one of them).
Maybe the next stop for A-Farce is Prizefighter :!:

Does that belt really mean much more than the WBF world heavyweight title? If Khan won the British title from Thaxton or Murray I would agree.
Amir Khan and Audley Harrison hasn't done anything in their pro career yet. Debating on who's achieve more, is like debating who's the funnier Chuckle Brother.

World Boxing Federation and the World Boxing Foundation!

Well said, totally agree.
He shows little respect, is deluded and has never won the fans over because of his air of superiority.
Then he shows no fighting heart, no stamina and no mental strength.
Good bye Audley...

They may have to retire the fat lady, get Aud' in there instead.
His post-fight claim of a broken jaw was odd also.
Years of dreams ruined over ten tepid rounds, how can you do this to me Big Aud'?

Of course Khan has done more. The Commonwealth belt is legit and, pound for pound, Limond is better than Rogan, say. Khan also beat the guy who was at the time regarded as number one in his division (Earl), even if it wasn't for the British title. This is something Audley has never done. Khan also beat a fringe world class opponent in St Clair, who pound for pound is probably better than Guinn, say. Even Ryan Barrett, with retrospect, is about the same level of most of Audley's victims, save for the Williams rematch.
And by the way, I am actually a fan of Audley and even used to work with him, so if anything people could accuse me of bias. But even I can say Khan has already achieved more than him.

Everyone knows it's Barry. What did Paul ever do? There's no humour in the mastermind of the operation, see Pinky and the Brain. So in conclusion, Khan is funnier than Audley.
Khan- "What are we going to do tonight Audley?"
Audley- "Same thing we do every night Khan. Try to take over the World Boxing Union."

Audley whacking Danny Williams (who in his next fight won the British title and also mullered a couple of German prospects) is better than Khan beating Limond, who has lost inside the distance to the only two names he has ever fought.

I agree. Comparing Khan and Audleys record. Audley has the best win between them, with Danny Williams. Which isn't really saying much.

Quickest route back is death and reincarnation as someone with heart. If he just took a look at Rogan for a minute he'd see a guy who can't box for toffee but won a decision on heart and guts alone; if he'd half audley's natural skill he'd be challenging for world titles!
Seriously though, I think Audley may genuinely be on the verge of mental health issues. Watching his post fight interview was completely bizarre.

Magically appear in the WBA's top 12 next month.
Knock out an Otis Tisdale type fella in 2 rds at the bottom of a DK bill in America to 'validate' the ranking.
By April or May bingo! Its Nikolay Valuev defending his WBA belt against the 2000 Olympic gold medallist in a place like China or Switzerland.
That really isn't as unlikely as it might sound -- DK has made a career out of it. Imagine the complete press & image turn around if an ostracised Audley whacked a 300 lb 7ft monster over in some boxing outpost and came back with a belt. Come on, it would be frickin sweet.
Harrison lost to a 37 year old Belfast taxi driver!
