My all-time favorite fighters whom I got to see when they were actually fighting (as opposed to fighters I only know through film and books) were Carlos Palomino, Danny Little Red Lopez, and Miracle Matthew (Franklin) Saad Muhammad.
I can still remember Jimmy Lennon, Sr. @ the old Olympic Auditorium in L.A.: "Kiiiiiiing Carloooossss Palo-meeeee-heeeenoooo!!"
