Far as picking top five favs, I'd book Butterbeans restaurant in Alabama to cater us and invite Big George, Jack Dempsey, Arch, Max Schmeling, and Jimmy McLarnin for so good ol'fashioned Southern cuisine, the whole nine yards, fried chicken, chicken fried steak, fresh catfish, mashed tooties'n gravy, cornbread, blackeyed peas'n hamhocks, collard greens, green bean casserole, peach pie and blackberry cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream and iced watermelons on picnic grounds overlooking a scenic river. Ice cold brews of choice of course along with iced tea.

Pick some world class victuals and world class boxing brains and world class graciousness all in the same day, that does it for me.

picking the same fighter twice in different divs - three times sometimes - makes this thread pointless in my humble opinion. you ought to force yourself to limit that fighter to one division only. fave fighters and fave champs are very different things. thats my contribution to this thread

There's no legitimate reason why you can't pick the same fighter more than once, though (although I understand your point). Felix Trinidad, for instance, arguably peaked in one of two divisions --- Welter & Jr. Middle. There's also this basic point --- maybe you like Felix Trinidad more than you like any other Jr. Middleweight in the division's history. Are you obliged to ignore that? Surely not.

Kelly was my best friend for several years, the best man at my wedding, and introduced me to my wife of 33 years. Yet, I preferred watching Saad Muhammad. . .)
