Yes his thoughts and opinions on the ringside special were some of the best I've heard from any boxer in any interview ever. He just loses it when talking about his son.

I still dont know how good Jr really is. This fight will tell us all we need to know if the fight comes off, which I am not confident it will. Jr could well be a dormant volcano and this is the fight he needs to get his career going in the top ranks. I havent seen much of BJS so I cant really speak highly of him. What ive seen of Jr is pretty lame up to now but has shown promise.

If the fights happens it will tell us what we need to know

Interesting: the Eubanks only arrived back in the UK a few days ago, having gone out to Vegas for the Mayweather fight and for training. The contract was sent to them a month ago but they've only had a few days to actually go through it.

I suspect if I was Chris Eubank's son I'd wind up boxing too. I suspect most people would. The issue of whether he's any "good" doesn't need to come until down the line. This ain't no criticism of the Eubank's btw. Chris Eubank is my joint favourite fighter with Ali and Michael Watson, I loved his book and I remain a fan....but I suspect, suspect mind you - that given the era we live in his choices probably stacked up something like this: Go to college, work at Asda, or be a boxer like his Dad...........Let him do his best. You know his Dad's gonna talk him up. Tyson Fury's Dad once described his son on ITV4 as quote: "five times better than George Foreman".

I know, man. Fury is only 4.5 times as good as Foreman, maximum. Maybe only four times as good.

Fight back on, i wonder if Eubank has signed a contract or it's just some verbal agreement. There should be a press conference next week if it is on.

The fight has now been signed by both Billy Joe and team Eubank ...the fight is now on by all account

I don't think Eubank deserves the shot based on his opponents to this point. Eubank is getting the shot based on the fact his dad was a famous boxer/character.

But in fairness, Eubank has played a blinder, if he loses then he can say I will be back, it's early days. BJS has all the pressure on him to protect what he has spent years building towards.

he's dad had fought mostly bums, got a shot at benn that he didnt deserve, no one gave him a chance etc etc

According to fightnews, allegedly has said that BJS Eubank winner will face winner of Andy Lee v Korobov for the WBO title.
