Eubank wins. I honestly dont think BJS has the power and i think Eubank has the speed to cause him problems

About to say the same thing. This won't happen. Eubank will pull out with a 'hand injury'.......his Dad will protect him.

It's a fight I'm excited about big time.

Only annoying thing is having two huge shows on the same night. Whichever one you watch avoiding the results in the other will be difficult

If it happens, Eubank wins.

"But he hasn't proved himself...he just fights Latvian bus drivers, BJS has achieved so much more" etc etc.....

Yeah but I still know what I've seen. I've never been massively convinced by BJS and just have a feeling that just because Eubank hasn't shown it yet against higher calibre opposition doesn't also therefore mean he's not more than capable of doing so.

I think BJS's 'natural'/intuitive boxing brain/in-ring IQ/ call it what you will, is superior. But CEJ is more the physical specimen and hits a bit harder. interesting styleclash if it comes off.

"Plenty of pride and bragging rights will be on the line when these two warriors collide, bringing back memories of the first epic Nigel Benn v Chris Eubank encounter in 1990."

Turn it in, Frank. It's a decent domestic clash, but it has zilch on Benn v Eubank.

As someone mentioned on a separate thread. We've had Mackin, Murray and Barker in the MW division but none of them fought for whatever reason. BJS has fought Ryder and will hopefully now fight Eubank Jr. Him and his team deserve a lot of credit!

This.

I'll only believe it will happen when both fighters are in the ring fight night the same goes for Fury and chisora.

How can Eubank go from fighting Eastern Europeans who can't hit back to the European title ? Strange matchmaking IMO

Good fight!

Massive step up for Eubank - so hard to say how he will handle it as he's never fought anyone remotely as good as BJS.

He's scheduled to fight Jez Wilson next month; if that fight still goes ahead (be suprised if it does) that will be a good measuring stick sort of fight.

I'm gathering its not for the British as the board wouldn't sanction it?

But the European will, weird that

This has got all the hallmarks of a classic allegedly pull out at the last minute job.

The big early hype and confirming of a fight before it's probably been signed to encourage ticket sales. We've seen it all before with Frank and I will remain very cynical about this actually coming off until the two men are actually there on the night fighting.

BJS on points. Close at first, then running away with it in the last half of the fight.

The difference here is he has both men under his promotional banner so it's a lot easier to make the fight.

If it happens I'd expect Junior to Müller him.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to see it, it just feels a bit too soon for Eubank and the sort of fight that could be made further down the line. Fair play to all involved if they actually get it to happen, will believe it when I see it.

Yeah don't blame you mate; lost count of the number of times allegedly a certain promoter allegedly announces an alledged fight - then shortly after one of the fighters claims he has no idea about the fight!
