Fair to say it wasn't a classic, scrappy as fuuuuck. Watching Barry box is never a pleasurable experience.

I gave it Warrington by a round. Close, ugly, boring fight.
Seeing Galahad fight should be used as a form of torture.

Sorry but tbh I thought Fidel was superb that night and was a clear winner.. different fight despite all the similarities.. only my opinion pugilist specialistPugilist-specialist wrote: ↑16 Jun 2019, 04:04 It was Wharton v Smith 2.
Well done to Warrington's promoter. The $584,500 he paid Galahad to get him to fight in Leeds was crucial.

Galahad, was able to make it his style of fight. Which means he made it an awful fight.
He may have won enough rounds to have an argument on the cards but imo was lucky not to have received point deductions.
It would have been bad for boxing had Galahad got the decision imo.
The few minutes the Briedis/Glowacki fight lasted had more action the Galahad's entire career.

The word 'robbery' is overused. It was a close fight anyway you chop it up.

No idea who won, lost the will to live after 5 rounds...
Apart from Ronald ( he’s hurled an educated right hand blow on a downward trajectory !!! ) McDoogle, got to say BT crew excellent - the lady interviewing the fighters is top class, obviously knows the fight game and asks all the right questions - Jamie Moore excellent, and the guy ringside ( usually does tennis ) was v good too.
At least Barrett fight was a good watch.

Never going to happen. No champion or network would willingly put him in the other corner. Too awkward to look good against. Will have to earn another mandatory shot or will never get another world title shot. That will take too long for a 29 year old featherweight.

They knew it was a 1 time opportunity, happy to admit he can't sell a ticket but doesn't try to change it.

Nullified him...... that's what you mean. Galahad hit him more cleanly all the way through.
Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Warrington vs. Kid Galahad - 15 June 2019
Why does Ron have such a hard on for Galahad?

Maybe they thought he was winning ..... it's what usually happens ..... showing favouritism to the one you thinks going to winRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑16 Jun 2019, 13:56 Was bit surprised by BT. If they were gna be biased towards a boxer, it would be the one contracted to BT.![]()
Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Warrington vs. Kid Galahad - 15 June 2019
kid nullified his own output, didnt do enough mid or late to really do a clear job
Re: Round-by-Round: Josh Warrington vs. Kid Galahad - 15 June 2019
I imagine someone told Ron beforehand that Galahad was going to win and he wrote the script accordingly.Switch hitter wrote: ↑16 Jun 2019, 14:19 Maybe they thought he was winning ..... it's what usually happens ..... showing favouritism to the one you thinks going to win
Prob only Adam Smith reads a fight worse, and has the same inability to change his pre written script.
Woodhall was very quiet during the fight, maybe he was just allowing us to watch it, or didn't want to openly disagree with Ron.
