Michael,

Perez bout on 2015-05-22

Wach bout on 2015-11-04

So when Perez got out on 2016-11-22 after 18 months, Wach got in on 2016-11-22 as best opponent.
Perez could not be a reference point because his approval rating was 50% rating because it's either Povetkin range :

2015-02-27...2016-08-28 with base combat with the hook or
2015-04-05...2016-10-05 with a base of either Klitschko
Manuel charr 2014-5-30...2015-11-30
or Carlos takam 2014-10-24 ...2016-04-24 and each with these options,

Mariusz wach is not the best female oppositions Povetkin in the range!!!???????????)

The 18 month time frame is NOT absolutely fixed. The 18 months time frame is re-started after a best opponent gets out of scope or after a better best opponent is fought.

The time frame is re-started after a reduction beginning with the bout date of the next best opponent.
The time frame is re-started after a better opponent is fought beginning with the bout date of the best opponent.

Please study in detail the following listing again.

The highest rating within 18 months is considered.

If this rating does not cover the rating - at any time:
- the rating is reduced to rating_red = rating/2 + rating_best_opp
- the rating_best_opp is increased to rating_best_opp = rating_red/2

Thanks Michael,

the correction was my fault. The correction of the rules was erroneous. The original text was correct. And I now have added some detailed amendments.

What reduction, please? Walters had 605 points after the Donaire bout and he had the same 605 points before his next bout?

His rating was reduced 18 month after the Donaire bout, between his bout against Sosa and his bout against Lomachenko.

On 2016-04-24 the Takam bout was out of 18 months after this bout.

So on 2016-04-24 we had to take the next best bout within the last 18 months. This was the Perez bout. This bout was on 2015-05-22 and this bout was within 18 months on 2016-04-24.

Walters had 450 points after the Sosa bout.

His best opponent after Donaire was Marriaga with 148 before the bout.

But this bout was at featherweight and Walters' rating after Sosa was at super featherweight.

At super featherweight the value of Marriaga's rating was 148 * 126 * 126 / 130 / 130 = 139 points

Walters' new rating after the reduction was 450/2 + 139 = 225 + 139 = 364 points.

no, not because Marriaga is taken into account a reasonable rating of the opposition after the fight because it is Sosa ???

We are looking into the current ratings with pre-bout ratings counting.

After the Donaire bout ran out of the 18 months window:

Marriaga had a pre-bout rating of 139 points.

Sosa had a pre-bout rating of 124 points.

So the Marriaga rating counts.

There are TWO reductions between the Wach bout and the Dehautas bout.

Just as I wrote:

first reduction:
2016-04-24 Povetkin 565 not covered by Takam 341 from 2014-10-24 (out)
2016-04-24 Povetkin 565 not covered by Perez 208 from 2015-05-22 (next best opponent)
2016-04-24 Povetkin 565 reduced to 565/2 + 208 = 490
2016-04-24 Povetkin 490 is now covered by increased entry for Perez 245 on original date 2015-05-22

second reducton:
2016-11-22 Povetkin 490 not covered by Perez 245 from 2015-05-22 (out)
2016-11-22 Povetkin 490 not covered by Wach 98 from 2015-11-04 (next best opponent)
2016-11-22 Povetkin 490 reduced to 490/2 + 98 = 343
2016-11-22 Povetkin 343 is now covererd by increased entry for Wach 171.5 on original date 2015-11-04

Povetkin is at 343 points after the second reduction.

Povetkin is at 343 points after the second reduction.
again I don't understand(...
if the last withdrawal of the rating with Povetkin happened 2016-04-24 the withdrawal can occur 2016-11-22 is only seven months???
I have a feeling that the rules of the downgrades only understand editors boxrec ??? )

It is not really difficult :D

The Takam bout got out on 2016-04-24. Now the rating was reduced based on the rating of the next best boxer Perez. With this first reduction on 2016-04-24 the new start point was set to the date of the Perez bout 2015-05-22.

The Perez bout got out on 2016-11-22. Now the rating was reduced based on the rating of the next best boxer Wach. With this second reduction on 2016-11-22 the new start point was set to the date of the Wach bout 2015-11-04.
