looks like thai fans will be watching it live on the rte website. thai cable tv is showing vitali v arreolla on sunday morning, which is a good fight but they are not supporting their local boxers. shameful really.

My gut tells me that Poonsawat KO's Dunne, I haven't put any money on it as I am going and will be hoping Dunne can pull off an epic win.

I had about £250 on Cordoba - that didnt stop me cheering Dunne!

I think I am going to visit my bookies later on, if Dunne gets KO'd I am going to pull the betting slip out of my back pocket on the drive back home and show my mate, who will be absolutely disgusted with me.

Just came into work:

Bernard Dunne and his mandatory challenger, Poonsawat of Thailand, have both made the weight ahead of Saturday's World title fight at the O2.

Dunne successfully weighed-in under the 122 pounds limit at his first attempt while the challenger was marginally heavier and had to step onto the scales three times before he was given the all-clear.

I think Ladbrokes had the best prices, 11/4 for the KO or 4/1 for Poonsawat to win on points....

I've been warming towards the Thai for a few weeks now but I hope Dunne does the business and we get more world title nights in Ireland!

Looks a tough one for Dunne doesn't it. After the dizzy heights of his great title win, he now has to get back to basics and do it all again, because this guy look tough. The crowd should play a big part again, and might just see him home for a points win I hope. I really like Dunne, coming back from such a devastating defeat like that - that's real character.

I guess the webcast starts around 9...

the Cordoba fight was great and thank god RTE let us watch that fight over here and are doing the same for this fight so hats off to them :TU:

It's going to be tough for Dunne to match this guy because he's quite a puncher and for all his determination and hard work, I think the Thai fighter will stop Dunne.

webcast starts 9:30 I think.

I'm guessing we'll be able to watch it here in 24 hours & 30 minutes: http://www.rte.ie/live/ (it's marked as being Worldwide) :TU:

Hopefully Bernard can do the business again tomorrow night, can't wait for it, the atmosphere in the O2 last march was electric....Should be a decent fight....

Poon-sa-wat.

Any else think that he reminders them of a quicker, slicker Kiko? gulp!
Yes he is a more accomplished boxer than Kiko alright, and tickets are not selling to well unless they pick up today,a poor under card also

I think the Thai will be dangerous for 4 or 5 rounds but if he hasn't gotten Dunne out by then, Dunne will take over and box to a decision.

It wasn't a good date. I think there is two WWE shows and a TNA show in the same venue over the next month. In a depressed market, those are all competitors for the casual pocket. Especially if a guy who normally goes to boxing has 2 kids he want to go to wrestling.

I think they tried to upset Poonsawat at the weigh in by pulling a stunt like they did, he made the weight ok

I think Poonsawat stops Dunne tonight. Obviously in terms of a common opponent Dunne stopped Cordoba while Poonsawat needed a split decision I think, but Poonsawat is a bigger puncher in my opinion and Dunne has shown he's chinny in the Martinez and Cordoba fights.

His fight with Cordoba was great and the atmosphere was superb, but I just think Poonsawat will be stronger tonight.

no way, the thai usually gets better and stronger as a fight goes on and his workrate is incredible. dunne won't be able to keep up if he is still on his feet after eight.

sidorenko did beat poonsawat quite clearly, IMO. so it's possible the bigger dunne could. the thai seems to have better form up at super bantam, though. a real fight, and dunne should be having more of these, IMO.
