If Breidis had simply fired that elbow apropos of nothing I'm sure the referee would've been harsher on him, but he referee has eyes, and saw that Glowacki had JUST cracked him full force in the back of the head. Now while that doesn't justify the Elbow 100% exactly, it makes it at the very least understandable why that would be your gut reaction.
