hi Martin!
question: the annual ranking points are awarded to the top 20 or top 15 ???
Top 20 for men
then why Vyacheslav Shabranskyy global ID 626314 and Eugene Khitrov global ID 667461 not received an annual rating points ???
Why do think, they didn't, please?

these fighters have now a rating of all time with 19 points, both in the top 20 ranking because it is at least 5 points for 2017. To the accrual of points for 2017 in these fighters rating all the half was 19 points and 17 points ???

Shabransky is rated at Light Heavyweight:
light heavyweight : badou Jack should be in a super Middleweight because James digel more rating than Nathan cleverly but one Shabran No. 21;
Eugene Khitrov should be in the Middleweight division as his best opponent Immanuwel Aleem 49 points and not Derrick Findley 43 point

Jack's TKO against 261 points at Light Heavyweight counts more than his draw against 282 points at Super Middleweight.
Khitrov's TKO loss against Aleem at Middleweight does not count.

hi Martin!
I have a question for the downgrade to Odlanier Solis in the period 2012-05-19...2013-11-19
in this period the best opponent Leif Larsen fight took place on 2013-03-22
because before the first fight with Tony Thompson 2014-03-22 rating Odlanier Solis should look 96 points :
10+(167-10)*(1-0,5*(1-58/167)**(307/548) = 10+157*0,547 = 96 points ???

As reference you have to take
- 2*best_opp = 2*58 or
- r_old/2 = 167/2

But still it was "W" isn't? Number 2 you know Very strong kid...
Doesn't matter.
Usyk would even have lost 9 points due to the close result and the large rating difference. But he got 27 additional points due to his opponent being #2 - and only so ended with a win of 18 points.

HW ratings for 3/04, post-Wilder-Ortiz
The HW ratings today show Wilder up 1 to #2, Povetkin down 1 to #3, Pulev up one to #4, and Ortiz down 2 to #5
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this mean the original order was Povetkin #2, Wilder #3, Ortiz #3, Pulev #5? From what I can tell they weren't tied at #3 before, Wilder was ahead...

The ratings are adapted daily in 2 steps:
- the new rating points are calculated and updated bout by bout
- the divisional ranking moves of all active boxers are found for all divisions boxer by boxer
so for a small time margin you may see boxers ranked by updated rating points but with outdated ranking moves.

Hi Michael,
AIBA pro boxing is not approved as pro boxing by the pro boxing commissions. The bouts are not part of the pro boxer record.
Greetings
Martin
