The fighters in the HOF before the great deletion were voted in the exact same way as they are today, democratically and fairly.
I apologise if my words came across as an attack on the integrity of my fellow Managers, I can assure you that it was not.

We have absolutely no way to compare stats with the later Hall Of Famers. And itis a shame.
I suggested making the distinction between the two eras so that future Managers will know that the Pre-Deletion Champions were elected and remain in The Hall based on the strength of the then Managers convictions.
And the fact that there is no research of information on the early era fighters will be forthcoming. :(
I am sure that Managers would prefer to examine the facts and the stats rather than just echo the opinions of original Managers as they have no basis to form their own.
