How much underdog was Groves?
Opened up around the 15/8 Mark I think and came into 11/8 on fight night.
Eubank was odds on throughout

Did anyone pick up on the comment that Groves walked into the ring weighing 184lbs, not sure what Eubank weighed but I bet it wasn't far off 168lb as he isn't the biggest at that weight.

Double edged sword for eubank. At middleweight, GGG/Alvarez batter him/BJS makes him look silly. He called out that crap guy who beat degale... that’s about his limit
That just felt desperate didn't it? I'll find the weakest champion out there and call him out.
That and saying that if George has dislocated his shoulder does that mean I go through to the final.
no, you wont be in the final big dog
damn it, i'll not start training then
!

I got Groves on points at 5.2/1 couldn't believe how long it was, I cleaned up.
It is amazing what some hype does in boxing throwing people's logic out of the window.

It wasn't a million miles away in that last 30 seconds. Why he didn't take risks earlier is a mystery. Groves was making it hard for him, but he needed to take the risks and he didn't.
Groves shoulder went in that last round which meant he couldn't keep Eubank off balance with the jab or hold when he came close.

Shane McGuigan deserves a lot of praise for the condition he got Groves into and tactics used in the fight. He didn't do to bad for a so called PE teacher.

Eubank claiming Groves was headbutting him a lot and should have had points taken off. What a jackass. His cut was caused by him rushing in head first.

Eubank on Twitter.
He says '"They" will never stop me' as if there is a conspiracy and he is fighting the system. The people stopping him are world class fighters who are stopping him through beating him. Quite simple really.

Good to see him back in the gym and motivated, this is a loss he can learn from and he is still in the mix.
Mental strength is much under rated

Not a fan of Eubank Jr, probably down to the unjustified hype he's got off of so many. You got to give the boy his due though in the gym the day after the fight with all the aches and pains he would of had putting in a shift. He will be feeling 10x worse this morning though

I don't give him his due, really, it's idiocy to train the day after the fight. gave himself no chance to recover properly.
thats how 'Insta-desperate' he is, he'd rather make a huge point about how dedicated he is, than do the actual, mature, sensible adult thing and recover properly after a fight.

I agree with you mate it would of definitely been the sensible thing to do but to even have the willpower to get up and go to the gym after taking a beating takes a lot of dedication. Even if you don't il give him his dues for that
