He’s developed a Kim Jong Un status in world boxing. There really should be a statue commissioned.

The Sopranos writer Davd Chase was getting worried that the fans of the show were starting to see the gangsters as a comedy act more than sinister murderers, so he deliberately added the scene of Ralphie beating his pregnant girlfriend to death just as a reminder to the audience what kind of people these are
Yeah I remember that. A great series that. Also there's an Italian series called Gomorrah which is really quite dark. Top characters just get whacked like suddenly

after all this chat still what is the point of this though , is it just gangsters in boxing but theres loads of gangsters in boxing since day dot. gangster is just another term for businessman , or is it that there drug dealers killers and cause harm, well they have been around a long time now why is it now only the concern ,that means to me that the government think as long as they stay in there working class communities they will turn a blind eye and dont care surely that is a bigger and more disgusting point to this documentry , if any thing programs like love hate promote and glorify violence far more than some now boring advisor role. people copy gangsters of tv from goodfellas to gomorrah to love hate to rocky, so i dont get what they want to happen

i dont support them at all, no doubt they do what they do a blind man can see that , but i dont get why there are being singled out now for just a news story, as they have been around for a long time, why didnt the shades or goverment do anything about it 10 to 15 years ago , only now there in the lime light for good things they want to come down on them ,so like i say its the goverment saying we dont care when you wreck the working class communities, so why should we care now

He makes an exception for irish people,he said so in an interview with some yank where surprisingly enough he was discussing race and racism for a change.

look the thing is people are grown up around crime from birth and have different morals you cant help it , honestly the film another bronx tale explains it well, nil by mouth another good one ,If you live among wolves you have to act like a wolf. prison is where normal good people go ,weirdos go to university ,this is the mentality, even a propper job is kinda frowned appon unless there is benifts what can you take , ,so there is a flip side to the coin ,and some opinions sound so farfetch it sounds absolute nuts ,

Darragh MacIntyre investigates the role of the alleged head of one of Europe’s biggest drug cartels in the upcoming heavyweight title fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
Was only a matter of time....
Boxing and the mob...maybe Duran-Moore was a bit far fetched as not even I believe that (too seriously) but this is why I question some results in boxing's history. Boxing and the mob have always been interconnected.

Christy Kinahan was middle class and made his empire selling poison, so stop it with the Daniel Kinahan made from the streets shite
yes, the drug crime laws are ripe for exploitation, and wrong
A kid who gets in with the local guy with a fancy car an jewelry by doing a few very well paid "errands" for him cannot be blamed, but the people who actively exploit these disgusting trades can't be handwaved away as unfortunate products of their enviroments, their VICTIMS are usually those unfortunate products because they are the ones exploited, robbed, beaten, and abused

Did anybody else interpret Peter Fury's comments as something along the lines of Daniel is no angel but his exploits and global significance are severely blown out of proportion? Not putting words in the man's mouth it's just how I read it. Wonder if there's any truth in that? Irish journalists have always like to big up their criminals, it's still a very village gossip mindset sort of place.
No, no, the 18 deaths attributed to the feud is a conservative estimate to the people murdered by the Kinahan Cartel

Christy Kinahan wouldn't have been happy with Donkey Kong, must have been having kittens while Daniel got involved in a needless feud, bringing world attention to him. Christy even attempted to make amends with the Hutches to stop the bloodshed, but Gerry Hutch, despite losing family members left and right, refused

A good mate is signed to MTK he’s just put up a statement on social media saying he’s only had good dealings with DM and thinks he’s good for boxing.
My thoughts are unless there are charges and actual police attention on him then this show will likely be good for him. As in, it will serve his story of being persecuted in the media and give him a platform whereby lots of influential boxing people have publicly backed him.
He’s not leaving boxing and it doesn’t look like he’s getting done for any alleged crimes. I’ve read all the stuff that’s out there and spoke to folk who claim to be in the know and it’s actually five feuds all rolled into one lots of scores to be settled and revenge attacks. The Hutch family were as ball deep in crime as anyone else involved. The Byrnes are a major firm themselves. Then there is the Finglas and Drogheda, Mr Big and Mr Flashy stuff all intertwined. It’s some carry over there.
I think what separates the Kinahan’s from the rest is that they’ve gone after innocent people who are friends of the Hutch’s as soft targets. Most of the Hutch family that are involved in crime are still alive but it’s mainly the ones who weren’t involved who’ve been killed. Noel Kirwan for example was an old friend of Gerry Hutch who copped it because he was stood with him at Gerry’s brothers funeral who was also supposedly not involved in crime & was targeted due to who he was rather than anything he’d done.
They also shot dead two completely innocent people in cases of mistaken identity. The murder of Trevor O’Neill as he walked down the street in Majorca in front of his Mrs & kids was horrendous & made headlines in Ireland.
If the Hutch’s wanted to they could’ve killed tens of people at the Regency who were friends of Kinahan but they were there for Kinahan’s & Byrne’s so in the end they only killed one of the Byrne brothers.
I don’t think people in general are that bothered if they see gang members taking each other out but when innocent people & family friends get dragged into it & kids lose their dads in cases of mistaken identity he hits a nerve in most people.
Correct it has to be said that almost all Hutch casualties have been family members/friends unrelated to the crime family or low ranking hoods
People are still generally bothered when bullets flying in residential areas with kids and people being executed in the street are happening several times a month

Eddie Hutch was not involved in the Hucth crime family business, taxi driver, brother of Gerry
CCTV footage showed him getting out of his taxi outside his home, reacting to screeching tyres and seeing a masked gunman emerge firing at him, we see the gunman follow him into his house, then run back out a few seconds later. He shot Eddie Hutch in front of his wife, the whole thing lasted less than 22 seconds.,
These aren't indirect fornicating incidents, these are Kinahan hired hitmen, sending a message to the monk that none of your family, even "uninvolved ones" are safe
