Lara is mental, love watching him. Warrington will probably get another immediate and undeserved title shot and I hope Lara flattens him again. Noticed he went straight over to Warrington after the towel went in.
Warrington has the IBF belt. So would be unification.
He lost it to Lopez.

And what would he say if it did continue and Wood ended up in a really bad way, he'd slate the corner for not stopping it

Wow worst robbery of the year so far Felix Sturm wins a UD over Sukru Altay, one of the judges had it 99-91, I had Altay winning 98-92, he outworked and outboxed shot to bits Sturm over 10 rounds, backed him up and landed clubbing hooks around the side of the high guard Sturm who barely let his hands go, Sturm nicked a couple of late round, littles cameos of his quality but he was well beat, German officiating is alive and well, UK take note🚮

This card was on DAZN last night btw incase anyone's wondering why the fck I'm mentioning it, now Roy Jones Jr is rapping in the ring, RJJ vs Sturm coming at you in 2023🔥

He clearly wasn't, still shaky 20 mins after the fight. Lara would have levelled him in the time left.

lara was right behind the ref waiting to KO woods who was still not recovered and should have been put across in the neutral corner but wasnt .
Davidson saved woods from a massive undefended head punch and any damage resulting , also ensured his fighter goes on to the rematch and or a warrington fight so he continues to earn as much as he can this year and beyond .
While people are playing 'what if', what if wood takes a horrible beating in the rematch and then gets KOd? If that happens, Davison's surrender last night will have led to it instead of potentially bank bursting fight with feather fisted Warrington, if he had come back to beat Lara. Fantasy talk shouldn't forget the law of unintended consequences.

well if woods gets battered and KO`d in the rematch then thats a different fight and scenario and again his coach has the option to towel him out or not as he sees fit -thats his role .
We just have opinions .

A really good effort by Wood :TU:

Lara is such a dangerous puncher and although Wood has improved so much, there was an air of inevitability that Lara was going to chin him.

One of the best decisions Boxercise Ben has made IMO.

Wood's head was badly rattled by that booming left hook, and it wouldn't have been wise to let Leigh take any more...Lara is absolutely ruthless and would have had no problem detonating more bombs on Wood's already dizzy head !

Absolutely, Fury was fine once he got up, this was completely different. Wood might have survived the round, although maybe not, next round he would have been in big trouble.

He lost it last December. Hard to keep up with the 126 division these days mind.

If I was Wood I’d leave Lara for a bit, hope that Conlan beats Lopez and rematch Conlan for the IBF belt.

Yeh, Fury was laid out. But he took his time, got up at a pace, shook it off. Beat the count and looked fine.

He actually went on to beat up Wilder that round IMO.

I’d have a good mind to score that 10-9 DW instead of 10-8

He can’t guarantee he’d beat Conlan again. Was a good fight.

If he can beat Conlan again then a rematch with Lara is unification.

The rematch clause for this fight won’t matter.

They’re all under Hearn anyway and they’re big money fights for these lower weight guys.

Don’t hook with a hooker. If wood kept that long he would won, might even have stopped Lara.

I’m on the fence about the stoppage. Probably the right call.
