Lara is mental, love watching him. Warrington will probably get another immediate and undeserved title shot and I hope Lara flattens him again. Noticed he went straight over to Warrington after the towel went in.
And what would he say if it did continue and Wood ended up in a really bad way, he'd slate the corner for not stopping ithandsofstone wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 07:07Fat Dan proving once again that although he might be a decent journo his understanding of the actual game leaves a lot to be desired
While people are playing 'what if', what if wood takes a horrible beating in the rematch and then gets KOd? If that happens, Davison's surrender last night will have led to it instead of potentially bank bursting fight with feather fisted Warrington, if he had come back to beat Lara. Fantasy talk shouldn't forget the law of unintended consequences.stevec@france wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 06:57 the towel was the right call .
lara was right behind the ref waiting to KO woods who was still not recovered and should have been put across in the neutral corner but wasnt .
Davidson saved woods from a massive undefended head punch and any damage resulting , also ensured his fighter goes on to the rematch and or a warrington fight so he continues to earn as much as he can this year and beyond .
well if woods gets battered and KO`d in the rematch then thats a different fight and scenario and again his coach has the option to towel him out or not as he sees fit -thats his role .veriton wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 07:39While people are playing 'what if', what if wood takes a horrible beating in the rematch and then gets KOd? Can't remember what fight it was but it was a recent robbery, Dan had it same as the halfwit judges but still put a story out about it being a terrible decisionRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 08:27Then he saidhandsofstone wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 07:07Fat Dan proving once again that although he might be a decent journo his understanding of the actual game leaves a lot to be desired
Fat Dan is talking absolute sh!t there. Fury was nowhere near gone on in that fight and got up on strong legs. Wood was staggering around.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 08:27Then he saidhandsofstone wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 07:07Fat Dan proving once again that although he might be a decent journo his understanding of the actual game leaves a lot to be desired
Absolutely, Fury was fine once he got up, this was completely different. Wood might have survived the round, although maybe not, next round he would have been in big trouble.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 08:52Fat Dan is talking absolute sh!t there. He lost it last December. Hard to keep up with the 126 division these days mind.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 06:52Warrington has the IBF belt. So would be unification.ashall2 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 05:26 Think it was a good call from Ben. Wood about to get absolutely ironed out.

He can’t guarantee he’d beat Conlan again. Was a good fight.ashall2 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 09:19He lost it last December. If I was Wood I’d leave Lara for a bit, hope that Conlan beats Lopez and rematch Conlan for the IBF belt.
Was from more of a less risk/more money viewpoint.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑19 Feb 2023, 09:23He can’t guarantee he’d beat Conlan again. Was a good fight.
If he can beat Conlan again then a rematch with Lara is unification.
The rematch clause for this fight won’t matter.
They’re all under Hearn anyway and they’re big money fights for these lower weight guys.
