I cannot tell you about specifics but I know there was issues with money and when I last spoke with him he didn’t have a good word about them.

Are you kidding? Mcguigan is not gonna part with a penny to build up a boxer now.

I wonder if there was a financial settlement?
Or they both just walked away and had to pay their own legal fees?
Is Frampton still liable for that big tax bill?
I guess Frampton can still earn whereas McGuigan is in a more complicated position.

Barry has been especially kind whenever I have been in his company.

He’s excellent at sniffing out top talent the big boys let slip past them.

You would have to put McGugian in the same bracket as a Don King........no decent fighters are going to go near him now. Too many fighters have suffered the same fate. The fighters baz could potential sign won't make him any $ so hes not gonna want to touch them and invest his own money. No way he's ever going to get a fighter of the calibre of Frampton or Taylor ever again.

Yes he wanted more and may or may not have been entitled to more but he pulled in a stack of money for a lower weight fighter. With the McGuigans now on the back foot and probably looking to reestablish themselves, the time is ripe for a half decent prospect to make hay. They just need to go in with their eyes and ears open.

Every fighter they sign will be swept up by MTK eventually.

McGuigan is nowhere near on Don King's level A lot of his fighters ended up flat broke and drugged up to high heaven.

McGuigan's main two boxers have had fabulous careers and earned good money, in Frampton's case exceptional money.

Barry got both of them incredible TV exposure, including terrestrial TV and guided them expertly through the ranks with pin-point match making and he often secured home advantage, particularly for Taylor.

Mcguigan will be lucky to not to be denied directorship of a limited company, he was proven to have breached company law on numerous occasions during the court case.
What about when the taxman looks into his dubious financial dealings
Still waiting to see if he takes Josh Taylor court
Also is he mentally fit to act as promoter/manager when it’s mentioned that he has struggled in the last year or so
Knowing how he treats boxers and generally most people I hope no boxer ever signs one of his toxic contracts

Someone said nobody will touch him anymore like Don King but people are still signing with King today and being burned as hot as ever. Martirosyan, Trevor Bryan, Lovejoy, Stiverne, think Sadam Ali was with him at a point. Don will destroying careers from beyond the grave.

If he is going to continue, I think McGuigan will anticipate the fighters moving to MTK and will probably have his contracts written up with that in mind.

Also not everyone wants to be associated with mtk. There's been trouble before with them trying get lads to sign for them that didn't want to

I'd not have anything to do with MTK. No way I'd want my children and grandchildren to look back at me being associated with them.
