Why? They seem pretty similar to me. They both ship a lot but Allen might have the edge offensively.

I think Gormans skillset is better, he wasn't able to show it much against Dubois as he was too big, strong and not short of skill either.
Allen is a more limited plodder.

i think that was brilliant performance for Dubois , say what you like about gorman this was billed as top fight so there was pressure and eyes watching , i think he was far to strong quick powerful , took a couple of shots too, i think dubois will go a long away , i think he will lay joyce out , give it a year he lay whyte out , i mean i think he would go through anthony ruiz now

Is Anthony Ruiz a hybrid? Yeah, he did well, took the fight to Gorman, never gave an inch but slow right down, it's delusion like this that see AJ get laid out and DDD is less experienced. He's still very robotic, slow and doesn't posses much in the way of head movement. He's 5 years away from AJ and Ruiz... at least 2 from Whyte and I'd be cautious about throwing him in with Joyce next, who I don't particularly rate but would give him one hell of a war but anyways, he's 21 and only 12 fights in. Could he become a champ... of course, he has the tools just not the schooling

Memories are short. Richard Lartey gave him a fair bit of trouble. Ruiz schools DDD if they fight now, as does Fury. Wilder lays him out... I'll reserve judgement on AJ until the Ruiz rematch happens

Yes DDD is still a work in progress, very young lad too, another couple of years4/5 fights between British and Euro level and let's see where we are.

21 is a baby for a Heavyweight. As long as his head is ready and steady for the learning curve then he should get better. Less of the bulking more technique he could make the move through levels a smooth ride. His feet in and out of range was very good. Head too static and open when delivering the wide angle bombs. We will see as said before.
