I shouldn't rise to them, CP. I just won't apologise for knowing a few! I'm aware I bring Henry up a bit, but he was, and still is, my insight into a good few things in boxing. I don't know Fury, BjS etc. I am a Fury supporter. I do know Hopey so we've got a got a good few years of this to come!
It's funny how nobody's accused me of loving gorgers when I mention Graham Fearn, probably my closest friend in boxing, Polish men when I mention Michael Fafera or black men if I mention Denzil Browne. It's the times I mention a traveller they all crack up.

I haven't scored it round by round, my feeling on the night was John won. Watching it back, it was very close. Yes, he would sell more in Cardiff than AJ-Takam right now.

I can’t see him doing 80,000 in Cardiff now against someone like Helenius. Who knows though. It’s hard to tell at the moment.

I’ve got a group of mates who I’ve seen all sorts of shows with (who are more casual fans) that would probably be up for it but another group (who I’ve been to AJ fights with but are super casuals) that wouldn’t and haven’t watched any Fury fight in the last couple of years bar the 2nd Wilder fight.

Takam was far from sold out. Resellers were taking a big loss on it. Who knows how Tyson will get on, he hasn't fought here for over 3 years and his profile has gone through the roof since then.

i don't think fury v helenius sells out a stadium could probably do manchester arena or 02 i think fury v whyte maybe could do a stadium

Still did 75,000 though. Not exactly a disaster for an fairly unknown challenger and not in his home city.

There aren’t many fighters ever worldwide that have sold that many. Hopefully we’ll get the chance to see whether Tyson does more than that.

Yeh the sell out crowd was recorded as 70k to 76k, but we know how Matchroom and StubHub ran back then..

I don’t think it was ever reported as a sell out? Was still a world record for an indoor boxing attendance.

I'm bored of this now, lads. Every single one of my friends is a Fury fan and I could probably run a coach to a Fury fight. Hardly any travellers, either, before you start. But I don't knock around in wine bars wearing a blazer and drinking bottled lager so I'm sure there's a lot of AJ fans there. Maybe not as many as there was before he kept getting filled in. I've seen, personally, a good few people, turn on him.

Most people aren’t talking about Fury’s popularity in the US - just referencing the U.K. and what info’s available to say there are 80,000 people willing to pay at least £50 and travel to Cardiff to go and see him.

The truth is none of us know but hopefully we’ll be able to find out.

I was at Joshua - Takam. It was definitely very close to capacity.

I think the cheapest tickets in Vegas were $250. And for fight 2, thousands travelled. I've always said people would have got a shock if Fury-AJ happened, the crowd would be massively pro Fury. Just like BJS when he boxed Eubank, and Billy isn't a ticket seller. They would go the extra yard to get the ticket.

It was BJS-Eubank that filled it. Multiply it by 10 and you'll have the Fury-AJ crowd.
