Sponsor a Hall of Fame Boxing Legend . . .
This year the California Boxing Hall of Fame will induct several all-time great boxing legends posthumously. They are Rocky Marciano, Joe Frazier, Floyd Patterson, Carl "Bobo" Olson and Kid Gavilan.
This year we are offering sponsorships of our posthumous group to boxing historians and fans. By sponsoring a legend, you will receive their induction plaque, and take it home with you to keep. You can tack it up on the wall of your office or den, or showcase it with other boxing momentos in a special place of honor. Your choice, it will belong to you.
These legends will be inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame on October 20th, however, there will be no family or representatives of boxer present to accept their award. So we will offer these awards to sponsors.
In order to sponsor a legend, you need only purchase a full page ad in our Collector's Souvenir Journal, dedicated to the legend in any manner in which you choose. One may wish to post a photo(s) and compose a nice message honoring the boxer within the page of the ad. You may wish to add the logo of your business, a personal photo, etc. You decide.
The cost for a full page ad is $500 and the fee includes admission for one at the CBHOF Banquet of Champions event to be held October 20th at the Sportsman's Lodge in Studio City. The plaque is a historic keepsake.
Sposorship for Rocky Marciano has already been secured by a boxing historian, however, Joe Frazier, Floyd Patterson, "Bobo" Olson and Kid Gavilan sponsorships are still available. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity
To reserve a sponsorship for one of the above named legends, please contact CBHOF President Don Fraser, or myself, Rick Farris, Vice President. We will be happy to assist you.
For details please call Don Fraser at (818) 761-4887 or
Rick Farris at (310) 482-1811. E-mail:
