He's gone from the most boring heavyweight to watch to the most exciting .
Other than the two knock-downs , which I think he had under control it was another beatdown for me .
Oh, I thought it was real close up to the 6th.
Maybe the first to Wilder , but thought he was getting outlanded in every round myself .

I hope if he has excuses they are a bit more believable this time, but there is a lot of precedent in boxing for excuses.
He ain't that sort of guy. He may have done it if he won, but no.

Still had the danger until about the 6th, after that his legs went and couldn't fire with full power. He never wins rounds unless there is a kd. But I felt he was still dangerous

What a great fight. Worth getting out of bed at 3am for.

I hope Fury will fight the winner of Usyk-Joshua 2 so we can finally have an undisputed champion.

AJ wouldn't have continued after those two knockdowns. Fury is a much better boxer than Joshua. Wilder has shown he has the chin and heart to take Joshua's power.
AJ punches way harder than fury. and every time fury hits wilder he gets hurt. Absolutly no proof that wilder could take AJs power. One thing we do know is AJ couldent take wilders. its an absolute shoot out AJ vs wilder.
We know that Wilder has much more heart than Joshua. He really went out on his shield tonight.
You cant heart your way out of being unconscious.. heart is important and wilder showed good heart, but it isnt some Auto win card.. its an interesting fight that if it oent happen is massive shame.

I don't think Ali congratulated Frazier after their first fight, but Ali dressed better. :OhYes:

ya, funny how wilder being a 36 year old ktfo back to back, just brutally pounded nearly cold, no wins in 2.5 years, gets him a proxy win over aj

He'll either KO Fury quickly
Get caught by Fury quickly
Or tire himself out and Fury will finish it in the mid rounds
Or a little of all the above

Must be a mistake - wow! Cards are perfect other than Wilder getting round 9 on one of the cards. I gave him 1,4 and 5.

Power went soon after but I was never fully sure until end of Round 10 when Tyson stopped covering up after being hit.

Brilliant top level fight.

In what way? I don't like either, so unlike a lot of fights where I'm a bit nervous wanting my favourite to win, this one was calm viewing because I didn't mind. Amazing fight and a credit to both, just in the ring only.

I still think Wilder's a prat outside it, and still think Fury needs to redress Seferi, Pianeta, Schwarz and Wallin for an ATG legacy. It's not like there aren't any half-decent heavies out there, so hopefully he fights them now.

I also hope Uysk beats AJ again, else we're back to square one.

yep

wilder was already talking about retirement before the fight too. and took an absolutely brutal pounding. he is 36 and hasnt won in 2.5 years. i dont see how anyone could think he's a lock to easily blast away a top guy at this point

One of the judges had it the same as Dan Rafael. Don't know how they get the job, even the ref was being biased I thought.

He wouldn't have done it if he won either. But, whatever, the right man won. It wouldn't have been right if Wilder had won: a terrible sport, a deluded bully, a liar and an arrogant idiot. They could have pulled him out again much earlier in this, but it ended the way he wanted it to end: with him on his face.

For his bravery I give him respect. I hope he goes away now and counts his money, enjoys his trophy bird and his gun collection, and takes a good look in the mirror and see that he's just a man. He's a hard man, and a brave man... That was a great show of heart from him tonight.
