Cracking fight I enjoyed that, I had Whyte winning 117-110, he boxed well, the jab was key he boxed well behind it, kept Rivas at bay and piled up the points, bright start from Rivas I gave him the 1st, got up close, and landed some nice winging shots from both hands and slipped the shots nicely as well but once Whyte stunned him with the right in the 2nd, he started to control Rivas who looked a bit predictable and one dimentional, he was still making the rounds close and landing the odd quality shot but Whyte worked the jab, uppercut and his body punching was excellent, he sunk in some sickening left hands into Rivas's body

Excellent 9th from Rivas, out of nowhere really, decking Whyte with the right uppercut, Whyte was hurt and on unsteady legs but he rode it out well, Rivas never had enough steam to press effectively enough and by the next round Whyte regained control of the fight to see it out, Rivas is a solid contender, was a but sharper than I remember him from the Jennings fight but just not as active as Whyte

I only noticed interference in the last 1/3 of the final round.
It was dissapoining, but not pivotal in regards to the fight as a whole.

Tend too agree , I think Wilder thought the first would be a pushover , of a fat coke head , but got a shock he was outboxed ,, Fury got hit hard and was very lucky to beat the count ,, i think they both scared the BjEEZUZ OUT OF EACH OTHER .

also see Wilder knocking Whyte into next week , and Fury making Whyte look stupid . I like Whyte , but don't really rate him at the top level .. I tthink he's got so high because of the lack of quality fighters around

Hard to argue with any of that ... but surely the networks won’t continue paying them crazy money to fight 2nd rate opposition . Fury has made massive money fight the 3 guys either side of Wilder. Wilder has only now started making big money (finally), but surely the public and Tv companies will get fed up at some point and it will get to the point that they have to make the big fights to make the big money ?!

Anyway all I can say is don’t pay for any heavyweight fights not involving the top six facing each other !!

They won't do that. Wilder doesn't generate that kind of money, they're just preemption canelo from dropping the belt and charlo from trying to enforce his position.

I think with a guy like Allen , the promoters HAVE to step in and , help him help himself , he clearly does'nt have the skills to compete at that level and NOT get hurt ,, Ok he's amusing in interviews , , he can punch a bit , has a solid chin , but he's just not up to the next level , so if Hearn wants him on shows its his moral duty to , lower his standard of opposition . , not just use him has a ticket seller , via his comedy interviews with that ass licker

Dave Allen went to stand after the fight, then collapsed. He was given oxygen and taken to hospital.
So far a broken eye socket has been determined and is going for a scan soon.

Fingers crossed he is OK.

oscar got robbed for me in one of the worst decisions ive seen

i cant see how whyte won that fight , fought on the back foot all night also got knocked down , gave him 2 rds , uk is a joke through back to the burns calls
