Good point.
Usyk quit camp last year and scuppered the fight.
Do you believe that David Haye cut himself to avoid Fury? You asked me to PM you, I did, and then didn't answer. It's a simple question.

And you want to meet up to 'discuss' in Manchester. Lets do that, I'll meet you outside the Hilton Park Synagogue. :TU:
Just PM me to save the forum from your attention seeking and trolling.
I PM'd you, you don't reply. Do you believe that David Haye cut himself to avoid Fury? I mean, if you don't want to answer, just say.

If you wanted to pull out you feign a back/shoulder/hand injury.

You could x-ray any boxers hand, and it would be a mess, enough for a sick note.

Deliberately cutting yourself is nothing short of ridiculous, because that scar tissue could go at any time

Yeah surely there's 1000 easier ways to postpone a fight without needing to actually hurt yourself, let alone doing something which could have serious repercussions in the future. Wasn't there a boxer a few years ago who said he had to pull out literally the day before the fight because he slipped in the shower or something? Got a vague memory it was a Frampton opponent, although could be talking rubbish.

There is no way Fury cut himself on purpose, the injury is genuine, but there are some flat earthers out there!

Zab Judah apparently slipped in the shower and cut his arm which led to a postponement ... I`m thinking it would be a bit more difficult to offer a grainy video as evidence as it happens in that situation. Those cynics may ask "why were you filming in the bathroom".

George Groves certainly thinks its a realistic possibility Tyson Fury cut himself intentionally ... Froch mentioned the claims that the cut appeared to be such a clean cut too.
Those two guys have a lot more first hand knowledge of what goes on at the top of the sport than any of us mere mortals.

What we do know is that lots in the industry and a lot of fans were convinced Fury would pull out for some reason.
We know that as predicted Fury did pull out.
The evidence offered is a grainy video which doesn`t actually show a cut.
We know only a very good excuse would be accepted.

Of course his last few moronic fans will swallow anything Fury says - I think we will only learn the truth 10 years after Fury retires.

Fury accused David Haye of doing it, so clearly Luke thinks it's an option.

When Lewis vs Holyfield was made, no one was doubting it would happen. And they ended boxing twice.

But with Fury vs Uysk, a lot of people doubted that Fury would take the challenge on the 23rd December. End result, he didn't.

It was rescheduled for 17th February and a lot of fans and ex pros doubted it would happen and suspected that Fury would find a reason to pull out. End result, Fury got cut, did pull out and grainy, inconclusive, footage emerged.

Is anyone absolutely confident that Fury will be available on the 18th May?

I hope so. At this stage, he needs this fight more than Uysk, legacy wise.
