Hatton's defeats are to the two greatest. What does he have to gain from fighting Witter ?
hatton's stock is now at zero, he has everything to gain from fighting and beating someone in his farewell fight.
look, witter probably wouldn't have got out of the first round against pac man. witter and hatton are not true world class so why not fight each other in a good ole domestic fight.

TBH i dont really get a hard-on for this fight anymore.

I think the Witter snowball melted against Bradley.

Beforehand it was growing momentum fast, but now it's a wet fish.

Now Hatton has been crushed by Pacman, it holds more chance of happening but it's not really relevant anymore on the world scene.

I think Ricky should turn it in now. He is in decent.

......infact i'd rather see a Khan fight if he beats Kotelnik.

hatton is finished as a force at world level - witter is on the slide.
hatton will probably want to go out with a win against a ''name'' opponent and witter fits the bill.
no need for any titles or any of that chelp, just tidy up the loose domestic ends before some well-deserved pipe and slippers time.
I agree that now is the time, it would sell out City of Manchester stadium and Witter and Hatton can go out for a pint together afterwards and all would be well.

Calzaghe could come in the ring and say a few words of farewell and it could be like an end of an era party.

im such a romantic

I'd still love to see Hatton-Witter, but I'd be amazed if Ricky has a sudden change of heart and takes him on, because Witter would do the same to him as Manny did IMO

Whos to Say Hatton wont get a good win against a Top name and hes back in the mix

Look at Mosley , hes been well beaten and managed to be a back at the top.
Mosley was Destroyed against Forrest years ago and managed to come back with great wins.

Seems that as soon as a British guy is Beat we just chuck the towel in on them.

There are plenty of big fights for Hatton
just a matter of wether he still wants them.

Just like the last time he won the title?
This time it's different, Hatton was recognised by most as the #1 at light welter now he has nothing.
