Thinking about it Eubanks record numerically is simply about the best ever !

I think Eubank's natural ability was overlooked by most because he was often so frustrating to watch. He cared more about himself than the fans' entertainment; that's only sensible.

Eubank had some really exciting fights with Thompson, Collins, Benn and Watson but he was also in some absoulote stinkers the 1 that comes to mind for me was against Ron Esset in Portugal he had a great ring entrence he was actually getting cheered and then he puts on a performance like that it was dreadful he won by a wide points margin but was really terrible

Yeah Ronnie Essett fight is the worst Eubank ever, Eubank looked horrid.. Dry, stiff, lungy, unbalanced, just crap..! Essett was intimidated tho..

He took a lot of fights on a few days (or less) notice on the way up... Canty, George, Aquilina, Collins (Simon), Moro, Da Silva, Dos Santos.

He fought a guy called Greg George on about 3-4 hours notice (for Mickey Duff) and literally just jumped on the Brighton-London train. The guy George was a sparring partner of Dennis Andries and Keith Bristol among others. That is sad. Nobody had an easy fight against him, including all the world's best middleweights and all the world's best up-comers. He started out as a good prospect, but then turned gatekeeper... tricky trickster and abit of a defensive wizard. Good.
