Hall made comments about Small "was going to be blowing out of his arse" or something like that, saying that he (Small) would get tired. Small's responce, which was quite right, was to say "So your gameplan is just based on me not training properly?"

Hall's "I'm going to bite your nose off" and "I'm going to stangle you with this belt" were... interesting.
Hall has never said anything like that about an opponent before this fight. Small comes along and disrespects him constantly and acts like an ABSOLUTE pr*ck to him and you focus on what Hall said in reply?

No, I was just responding to the comment that Hall did nothing.

I've nothing against the banter- from either boxer- to be honest.

A professional boxer should never let his opponents antics and banter get to him.

Styles makes fights, as we know - but neither are World Class imo.

Small did what a fight should do? A fighter should insult the other fighter and act like a pr*ck for entertainment?

Yes, Hall made some interesting quotes. But he showed almost no charisma and he said those lines as if he were a robot.

Smalls a showman and thats whats been missing in a british title holder recently (i'll await the im wrong comments lol), showmanship a british title and an exciting style will no doubt get small an undercard on another big ppv fight and if he impresses, providing he defends the belt successfully then the US is there for the taking.

A fighter should try to get the public and the press interested in the fight.

Small was trying to make it into a grudge match, which tends to make a fight more interesting to both the public and the press. To do that he had to make a few comments about Hall.

Small's behaviour at the press conference seemed acceptable, did I miss him say anything awful to or about Hall at another time?

I didn't hear him say anything that was actually offensive.

The man DOES affect that annoying style, but then, that's just his manner.

I thought his comment "Hall doesn't have the intelligence... here Matthew string two words together... see he can't even do that, he doesn't have the intelligence to beat me" was f*cking annoying and you didn't see Naz or Eubank use that tone when they were doing their thing.

Haha I actually found that funny, each to their own tho, I find it funny cos Hall is a meathead and Small was simply mocking that. It's not like Hall was gona readily come back with something witty as he won't have the quick mind to think of owt so instead just came out with the vulgar Tyson-style rubbish.

To mention himself in the same sentance as Roy jones jnr, Mayweather, Ali!!!!! the guy needs a serious beating. Brian Hughes's reaction was exactly as mine would have been. Cant wait to see him get sparked
Going by this performance you'll be waiting a long time I think....Smalls is bringing a bit of hype, so what! He is not disrespectful, he went straight over to Halls corner when the the fight was over to console him and shake his hand, is that disrespectful?....No, Being told by Hall that Smalls is going to get his nose bite off and Halls cornerman telling Smalls to f*ck off is disrespectful...If you are trying to suggest any disrespect going on.

Small is a cocky annoying pric* but he generated excitiment about the fight and said what he was going to do KO Hall
Small fought a good fight he got Hall riled up and got inside his head exactly what he wanted
