I read he will continue and not retire. Why do boxers say that, 'last chance saloon' etc....then he loses and he wont retire. I guess money is a big factor here, he cant be as financially well off as some ppl have been saying.

To re-iterate, he is a decent bloke but he was not that great a boxer to begin with. Being from Wales, coming up through the ranks just after Joe C, undoubtedly helped his profile.

He has achieved more than what his ability warranted but he has the classic bully mentality, so continuing to fight financial motivation apart, I am not sure what he will achieve.

A couple of easy blowouts of non-descript opposition will do nothing for his confidence and then again throwing him in deep wont do anything either. His confidence is shot and the moment he faces someone who will take his punches and fight back, I am pretty sure the result will be the same.

He will retire. He just said he hasn't retired yet. By the sounds of things he just wants some weeks to think about it. Good luck to him.

how can we talk about someones legacy who lost to see swaby carl the cat will be rememberd as a much better fighter ! fed up of hearing enzo's excuses

i think you have just summed it up in a few lines DG, too many hangers on for mr maccarinelli i think.

DG summed it up well. A point has to be made about Maccarinellis awful bullying attitude. I could dig up a link on youtube of when he was on bunces boxing hour acting like a right pratt and talking shite. Truth is, he was stopped 4 times and made a career out of beating 2nd rate challengers. He got put in his place when he tried to step up and then couldn't give credit to whoever beat him. I bet Haye is laughing at him now. Funny thing is, with the right training, mentality and application, Enzo could have done Haye.

That is f*cking funny because he could never of beaten Haye, EVER.
