He was smaller than Hatton on the nioght as well.
JMM gave Pacman life and death and even Diaz was abkle to last uintil the 9th or so, Hatton was destroyed the 2 times he stepped up in class and both times against naturally smaller men!
You think ANY Middle steps up NOW to beat Froch?? Abrahms is a SM before you say him!
Froch number 1 and thats that!
3,000th post.DD
Froch takes this on current form!
getting his head boxed off?
100% stone cold fact!

Better than getting knocked out cold.
Froch is still the champ, is Hatton?
Does Hatton have a Pascal - DIRRELL ( undefeated highly touted ) on his Record or a JT?
Oh yes, an old KT in 1776!

Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
John murrey!!! Matthew Macklin!!!!! Ryan Rhodes!!!! To name a few!!!!Horse wrote:He has beaten Kiko Martinez twice, who is a noteworthy opponent. The other three opponents he has fought as European champion may not be that great, but are they decent.CEO_Hoodlem wrote:No way should Rendall Munroe be so high!! Yeah he is Europian champion but who has he actually beat, No one of note.
Which fighters that are below Munroe have a better record over the last two years?
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
Mitchell hasn't got very many big wins. Fighters like Napa deserve to go above him on overall record, as well as current form.DG. wrote:Froch has BEATEN better than Hatton in the last 7 months!!Horse wrote:Kevin Mitchell has not beaten anyone decent since beating Walter Estrada over a year ago. If fighters immediately below him get good wins then they are going to overtake him, just like Napa did.
He is number 1!
Froch's overall record is not as good as Hatton's, so he only has the recent results in his favour, which means a lot, but it is not everything.
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
Taylor also lost to Pavlik twice. Neither Pascal or Dirrell had proven that they were a force at World level before they faced Froch.DG. wrote:Taylor Still a force ( beat B-HOP TWICE and had only lost to PAVLIK!!!).
Pascal Still a force - was undefeated!
Dirrell Still a force - was undefeated!
Urango and Malignaggi are both more proven at World level than Pascal and Dirrell. Perhaps both Pascal and Dirrell will prove themselves to be better than Malignaggi and Urango in the future, but they haven't shown it yet.DG. wrote:Castillo was SHOT
Lazcano was SHOT
Collazo 'did Hatton win??? - plus he was schooled by Mosley WHO WAS NOT HOT AT THE TIME!
Urango? Purleasseeeeeeeeee!!!
KT OLD!!!
Maliganaggio - best known for losing to Cotto!
THe Pascal win was more than 7 months ago. Also, Calzaghe beat Hopkins as well.DG. wrote:CURRENTLY FROCH IS SHOWING BETTER WINS THAN HATTON.
USE THE SAME CRITERIA YOU USE FOR HATTON THAT YOU USE FOR MITCHELL!
Shall I remind you what that is? Ok!!!
If the people below him get better wins than him they go above him!
Hatton - WINS - :Lazcano and Maligasnnaggggggi
Froch - Pascal - undefeated and now World Champ at lt heavy.
Taylor - Former undisputed and only man other then RJJ to beat Hopkins in the last 15 years??
Dirrell - undefeated Olympian!
Froch wins - anmd ALL in the last 7 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD DAMN!!!
Froch struggled badly with the totally unproven Dirrell. How can I move Froch to the top of the list for beating a relative nobody like Dirrell in such a messy and unconvincing way?DG. wrote:Hatton has been knocked out TWICE in recent times - bvt with you he gets credit for it?
HATTON AVOIDS slick FAST AMERICAN FIGHTERS - CORLEY - JUDAH - MITCHELL ETC
YES, HE TURNED DOWN FIGHTS WITHY THEM ALL - BUT HE WILL FIGHT YOU FOR THE MONEY - HE TURNED DOWN PBF FOR YEARS...FACT!!!!!
FROCH FIGHTS ANYONE!!!!!!!
A N Y O N E!!
HATTON STRUGGLED BADLY WITH COLLAZO AND WAS NEARLY STOPPED AND HURT SEVERAL TIMES.
OhYes:
Froch is number 1
I didn't feel that I could. A win over Kessler or Arthur is the sort of win that is worthy of claiming the top spot, not a win over Dirrell.
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
How many more can you name? You should really name all of them if there are so many of them.CEO_Hoodlem wrote:John murrey!!! Matthew Macklin!!!!! Ryan Rhodes!!!! To name a few!!!!Horse wrote:Which fighters that are below Munroe have a better record over the last two years?
John Murray's best opponents have not been above domestic level: Meager, McAllister, Lawton and Thaxton. Murray has a good recent record at domestic level, but I think that Munroe's two wins over Martinez as well as his other European defences are better.
Macklin and Rhodes have a competetive level of recent opponents compared to Munroe's, so I won't argue about them.
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
You've let your family down with this, Horse. Everyone knows the stoppage against Malignaggi was dubious. I mean, the corner threw in the towel after a one sided beat down so their man wouldn't take any more punishment, so it was certainly open to question whether that should be qualified as a win for Hatton at all.
Anyway, the upshot, Horse, is for putting Hatton above Froch -- who has lost probably 60% of his last 24 rounds at B-class level -- that you're clearly history's greatest monster, worse than Saddam who gassed the Marsh Arabs.
As a question, why oh why do people get so worked up about this?

Why shouldn't they? People disagree with me, so they debate with me. It seems reasonable enough to me.Carbo wrote:You've let your family down with this, Horse. Yes, but it's hysterical, Horse. Honestly. It's like "HOW COULD ANYONE DISAGREE WITH ME. Froch takes it. Holyfield Lewis and Tyson are not p4p anymore .why? Because their current form does not allow it and 2 are retired.
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009

Hatton has better wins than Haye in the last 12 months, so I am not sure why Haye has got so many votes.

But what about Hatton's catastrophic destruction???? Is that not a factor worth considering??Horse wrote: Hatton has better wins than Haye in the last 12 months, so I am not sure why Haye has got so many votes.

Haye moved up a division and beat a decent fighter and Hatton has been knocked out COLD by pacman. The win holds haye steady and the ko drops Hatton. Froch is number1. Yes, but losing to Pacquiao only dropped Hatton a few places on most World P4P lists, not enough to put him below Froch or Haye.liamlion wrote:But what about Hatton's catastrophic destruction???? Is that not a factor worth considering??
The BoxRec forum World P4P rankings have Hatton as the top ranked British boxer, followed by Froch and then Haye. I agree with their decision.
Haye has only beaten Barrett in the last 18 months. In my opinion, Hatton beating Lazcano and Malignaggi and then losing to Pacquiao is better recent form.

Most know Boxrec has crap
Ratings and apart from the money I think everyone would rather have Hayes 18 months to Hattons.
Who in their right mind would want to be knocked senseless?
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
Barrett was only a top 20 ranked Heavyweight at best. Pacquiao was the P4P number one.DG. wrote:Haye moved up a division and beat a decent fighter and Hatton has been knocked out COLD by pacman. The win holds haye steady and the ko drops Hatton. Froch is number1. The people have spoken!
If I was only considering results from the last 18 months, then I am not sure that I would even have Haye in the top 10.

Barrett is a relative nobody and a win over him counts for little as far as international P4P rankings go.
