Any comments, criticisms or P4P lists are very welcome.

Did you deliberately wait until the the bell struck midnight to post this? Erm, that is a tad sad.

Froch should be number 1! Even if be struggled with dirrell. Pascal Taylor and dirrell tops Hatton! Getting knocked out in 2 of your last 4 drops Hatton!Horse wrote:Any comments, criticisms or P4P lists are very welcome.

Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
I'd have Jason Booth higher than Alex Arthur and Froch at number 1 but good list all the same

How can you put Froch at No1?He's not even the best super middleweight in Europe. When his acheivements match Ricky's,maybe so...alexpaterson wrote:I'd have Jason Booth higher than Alex Arthur and Froch at number 1 but good list all the same

It's not an all time list mickey.mickey1975 wrote:How can you put Froch at No1?He's not even the best super middleweight in Europe. When his acheivements match Ricky's,maybe so...alexpaterson wrote:I'd have Jason Booth higher than Alex Arthur and Froch at number 1 but good list all the same
Its the current list.
Otherwise Lennox would be no1.

I didn't want people to have to wait for it. Some people may have been staying up to get a look.Finch wrote:Did you deliberately wait until the the bell struck midnight to post this? Erm, that is a tad sad.

Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009

Then they are a tad sadder than you.
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
I think Froch should be top, the likes of Murray and Cleverly should be higher than Nicky Cook who has done nothing since losing his belt to Martinez and I also think Booth should be ahead of Napa and that Martin Lindsay is ranked a little bit too high.
spot on otherwise

Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
Dirrell was unproven at World class level, so I didn't think that a close decision win over him was enough for Froch to claim the number 1 spot.DG. wrote:Froch should be number 1! If Froch beats Kessler or Abraham then he has a good chance of overtaking Hatton.
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
Murray outside the top 10 is just crazy talk! Especially when you have a retired fighter at five.
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
Hunter looked awful, so I didn't feel that I could raise Booth any further up the list based on beating him. Booth would have had to climb another two places to go above Arthur and I didn't think he deserved to climb up that many places.alexpaterson wrote:I'd have Jason Booth higher than Alex Arthur and Froch at number 1 but good list all the same
I might have put Froch at the top if he had beaten Dirrell convincingly, but he didn't.
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
McCloskey has not fought since March. I cannot move him up until he wins a fight.sligobhoy67 wrote:boring - McCloskey too low!!
Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
Regarding Hatton/Froch -
Does a Pacman loss and Malinaggi, Lazcano victories, beat Froch's wins over Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell?
I'd have sided with Froch and given him No.1
And because Froch won't put on and lose 18st before Kessler.

Sorry, but beating PASCAL and Jermaine Taylor and Dirrell BACK TO BACK is better than getting stretched by PBF - dubious stoppage against Maliganaggi and points win against Lazcano then stretched against Pacman.Horse wrote:Dirrell was unproven at World class level, so I didn't think that a close decision win over him was enough for Froch to claim the number 1 spot.DG. wrote:Froch should be number 1! Its a current list after all.
What does it say about British Boxing if getting knocked out by a p4p smaller man makes you number 1?
Pascal is a World Champion up a weight, remember!!!
Sorry, but Hatton is STILL living off Kostya!
Froch Number 1!!!

Gwannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn,Froch!!!
Number 1 British P4P!
Also, Kessler is good -as is Abrahms, but apart from Jermain Taylor, who have either of them really beat?
Mundine?

Re: British Top 30 P4P November 2009
He has beaten Kiko Martinez twice, who is a noteworthy opponent. The other three opponents he has fought as European champion may not be that great, but are they decent.CEO_Hoodlem wrote:No way should Rendall Munroe be so high!! Which fighters that are below Munroe have a better record over the last two years?

I think it's an absolute disgrace that Martin Rogan is above Gavin Rees. I'm simply fuming, and I'm going to contact Rees immediately to let him know what you've done. You should be ashamed. You've let your family down with that one Horse. Honestly, do you deliberately try to offend people with these things?Horse wrote:1. (1.) Ricky Hatton

A dubious stoppage against Malignaggi?? Are you having a laugh?? His corner threw in the towel after ten one sided rounds. Dubious stoppage, indeed.DG. wrote: Sorry, but beating PASCAL and Jermaine Taylor and Dirrell BACK TO BACK is better than getting stretched by PBF - dubious stoppage against Maliganaggi and points win against Lazcano then stretched against Pacman.
Classic.
