I disagree,Froch has always seemed like a guy whereby being the best was more important than the money.When he won the belt against pascal he could of had a few easy fights where he'd make a bit of dough and then take on a top opponent but he hasnt done that!Its been top opponents even since he won the belt.

Yeah, the sport could never survive without Amir Khan.

Much better to have him fight a string of blokes the general public has never heard of.

I dont think there's much point even discussing this to be honest, that fight will not happen next spring as there are huge downsides for both sides. For Mayweather fighting someone so young and talented with so little rep presents a risk. There are better higher profile paydays for him in fights he is guranteed to win e.g. Cotto. For Khan, despite the payday he will almost certainly lose badly and he then runs the risk of falling into post Hopkins Pavlik territory. The fight would be suicide for GBP who can make millions from Khan over the next decade. Despite the hype to the contrary, Khan is not doing what Hatton and Hamed did. Those fighters went to the US as big stars. Hamed sold out the main arena at the Garden, Khan was onli in a small theatre. He is not box office in America yet.

People are already forgetting that Khan's legs stiffened after Prescott landing a solid jab, its only a matter of time before he gets knocked out again. If he struggled badly at the foundation level of his career (Drilzane, Gomez and Limond) I would suggest he will never be ready for PBF.

I don't necessarily disagree with your views on PBF, but I was wondering what you're basing them on?

Mayweather's activity isnt great these days, he is past his prime and not even fighting at his optimum weight.

Khan could win.
