A very quick puncher, gets a little cocky at times(leaves his hands down), But he is a real talent.

I bet he will turn pro in NZ...
Yeah he looked good a right show-boater with a bit of a dig aswell, he soon put his hands up when the guy caught him in the final round though.
Yep that left hook wobbled him, he then kept his hands up for the last round.
He got wobbled again in his second bout but looked even better, he looks the boxer of the tournament so far. He's got a big Irish brawler O'kane in next round will be very interesting.

The Indian fella looked super impressive. All class and I must say after a very long time I enjoyed a good dose of technical pugilism as opposed to some of the bull shit lopsided pro "bouts" we've been given.... not to forget the Kiwi big boy, who came from behind to donkey lick his Canadian opponent, 5 years his senior. Brilliant heavy weight stoush that was.....

Theres too many punch's that don't score,"oh Really" Yes Really" Well Fark You" No sir.... Fark you" This AM boxing when you draw shitt is completely too hard to follow.

In the Middleweight that Indian who's world champ, will kick the livin crap out of every other Middle I've seen fight so far.....an Indian who can really fight, now I've seen everything.

Yeah HD-- bloody frustrating when so many shots land and don't register... bloody frustrating. Yeah the Indian fighter can really move and land clean shots. One of the best, crisp upper cuts one will see going around.

Good fight Ogogo, you gotta feel for Hooper though but he's young so theres plenty of time for him.

He throws that uppercut like a boxer throws a jab. He'll win no doubt, that fight came on before the Hooper v Ogogo, and alls i thought was no one's beating this bloke, he's well rounded and very very quick, his punches are more straighter, his uppercut is devastating and his movement and defence is flawless.

I'm still in shock that he's an indian World AM champ, hope this doesn't sound racist, but how many Indians do you know that can throw......has there ever been a world champ(PRO) who was indian?

Yeah he's pretty clued up and very skilled fighter, flawless is a good way to describe it. I guess the closest we'll see or seen is Pakistani born Amir Khan. Traditionally India have had very good am boxers and wrestlers. No one really pushed on and turned pro because they don't have any pro fighting in the sub continent. India have had some awesome pro wrestlers in the past.... they were bloody good.

Hooper did bloody good, unlucky that some of his shots weren't scored.... speaking of Indians who can throw, didn't an ex-cricket captain get banned for life for throwing cricket games? :OhYes:

I missed that fight, goodluck to him on his next bout.
I actually met fata(he's known as hugo fata) in samoa when I was there last year, I seen him fight a couple of times too.

Otara was rough when I was in nz, and it sounds like nothing has changed.

South AKL is fine. It's a nice place, nothing over the top to be honest.

That would probably be the general perception- I would be keen to see some per capita/town stats to see if it is official :)
