he is only 9 mate....but if he starts to like boxing the way he loves cricket already then for sure in years to come...plus keeping him away from the net til he is at least 13 -14...then i will have no hope...must teach him to clear history then though..his mum will have a pink fit otherwise

Its far from ideal for me. Its my girlfriends birthday and she's invited all her mates to our house for a bbq which I will have to tend to, and be polite and attentive and all that. You know how much sh*t pissed birds talk, so to make the best of a bad situation I've invited my mates too.

I just know that come the evening the birds will want to play karaoke or something, so basically I'm going to be stressing all day about how rude to them I will have to be to get the fight on the telly (a modest 40" Samsung 1080P HD in the spirit of this thread).

In an ideal world, I'm either at the fight, watching on TV with the two knowledgeable boxing fans I do know or watching alone.

I sound like a moaning git, but this is important!

There's a free festival in Cov in the day with Lethal Bizzle and Athlete playing (not together although that would probably be better) so being dragged along to that with my missus, her mate and her fella so will have a few there.

Then house and dog sitting that night and the lad who i'm house sitting for has kindly paid for the boxing and bought me a few beers. Which is nice.

Missus is out at night and is staying back at her house with her mate so i'm gonna invite a couple of mates round to watch the boxing and get messy.

Don't suppose you're near the Walsgrave triangle that night by any chance??

I'm at a wedding up there and from what i'm hearing the boxing will not be available which means i'm going to have to stay dry, leave the car outside and disappear for 30 mins to find somewhere local with it on

Aah. I see. you're probably right, it's just that the Sky Sports website suggests that you "Book now at the lower price" indicating that a price hike may be in the offing.

Doesn't matter to me as I Red-Buttoned it at the weekend. Mrs Ears has confirmed she'll be taking Ears Jnr and Ears III to her mums, so I have the TV and the house to myself for a night I'm far too excited about!

This might seem sad, but I am locking myself in my gaff, no mates, no family, except the wife, who I tried to shake but couldnt, so she has agreed to sit and watch it quietly. I have waited for this bad boy for literally years.
