Nasser has been nominated by the WBC to fight WBC Asia No1 and Asia champ and former WBC world youth champion Pathompothong who also has a top ranking with WBC, I think it is 24, well above the brit champ and commonwealth champ, like I said before you don't know anything about this industry, why am I even trying to educate you ?

What where you expecting? A telegram from the queen?
You might have noticed that Frankies promotional team have been otherwise engaged of late.

Someone like me? Hmmm.
I'm not going to flirt with you like others do as anyone who disagrees with you clearly 'doesn't understand'. I'd never had a problem with you on here but I'm starting to see why you are seen as a delusional joke figure with serious personality flaws. I'll avoid your posts here on in. Especially the ones which brag about Nasser hitting a bag, epic progress for a boxer I'm sure.
I notice you didn't respond to my post about 50/50 fights. I disagreed with you so perhaps I don't understand. Or perhaps you were talking shite and got pulled up on it again.
Keep banging the drum sweet cheeks. I do think its a bit sad to see any parent so driven to live their own dreams through their child (let Nasser breathe!), but its worse when they have a detrimental affect on their childs career. I hope Nasser is strong enough after a loss to cut you out of his career, cheerleaders are a distraction. If you can't take comments back without hurling playground insults, then its clearly not the place for the ridiculous updates about your son. We'll all see the important update for ourselves when the fight comes around

Firstly I am not a loser like you, who's only sense of power is to go on this forum under an alias and slag people off, the reason I commented on your lack of understanding, is that you asume I was having a go at Frankie, which I was not, so you got upset that your idol might have been comprimised, seen as though you need clarification, I was refering to the Byrne fight that had hardly anything on it, then was called off. I am not driven to play out my own dreams throgh my son, I only want to help a very talented kid achieve his ambitions, Me personally I have achieved an awfull lot in my life and been very sucessfull both in business and in the martial arts over many years, fighting all over the world, I have also trained martial artists to K1 world championships, you on the other hand are a muppet who as proberbly achieved nothing and if you had someone in your family who was talented you would following them instead of someone else, like a puppy, as for hurling playground insults I guess you don't do that do you ? So you don't understand about punch stats or how important it is, guess I was right all along, you don't want to flirt with me, so you thought you would anyway ? Your a low life.

As brief as possible:
Not an alias. Not hard to check. The hypocrisy is astounding.
Didn't think you were popping at Frankie, just shocked you thought the fight would lead your son to an appearance on Graham Norton. I like watching Frankie box, always have done. If your son ever displays a similar level of skill (courtesy of all your wonderful training), then I shall enjoy watching him box too. Lets see shall we?

Richie Woodhall tips Birmingham boxer Nasser Al -Harbi for the top
Sep 22 2008
RICHIE Woodhall claims he has seen the teenager who is going to be Birmingham’s next world champion and claims Nasser Al-Harbi is a mirror image of himself.
The 19-year-old from Perry Barr has won rave reviews during his first three fights and after his impressive win over Matt Scriven at the Tower Ballroom last Sunday he received a glowing endorsement from Woodhall.
The former WBC world champion is usually a reserved character so when he says that Al-Harbi is set to follow in his footsteps, it is worth sitting up and taking notice. However, the trainer and television pundit is taking a hard-line approach with his protégé and refused to cut corners ahead of his last fight despite the teenage sensation’s religious beliefs.
Al-Harbi stuck rigidly to the guidelines of Ramadan before his latest scrap and fasted from dawn until sunset.
It wasn’t ideal preparation for the biggest fight of his career but Woodhall insists he didn’t see Al-Harbi slack off at their Aston gym.
“This kid can be a world champion and go all the way, and I don’t say that very often,” said Woodhall. “He is currently fasting and that won’t allow him to have any water or food during training sessions but I didn’t allow him to cut any corners.
“I didn’t let him miss training as he needs to prepare and the worst thing that could happen to him was that he got beat but he has shown his dedication. I want him to achieve his potential and be a world champion.
“He is a very good kid and his style is very similar to me in that he hits and moves and his ring craft is exceptional.
Relaxed
“Like a lot of boxers nowadays he has a very relaxed style but he can back it up and as long as he keeps progressing then there is no limit to what he can achieve.”
Al Harbis’s father – Naji – admits his son is working overtime in a bid to fulfil his talent and won’t let Ramadan blight his ambition.
He may be hungry during the day but his dad insists his hunger for world titles is greater and will drive him on.
“He is dedicated to the cause and doesn’t drink, smoke or go clubbing as all he is focused on is boxing,” said Al-Harbi senior.
“He was accepted for University but he decided he wanted to pursue his boxing career instead and he has incredible talent.
“I have seen him sparring with Matthew Macklin and Darren McDermott and he holds his own no problem at the age of 19.
“The exciting thing is that Nasser is still growing and he will become a man in two years time when he can hopefully develop like his boxing idol, Sugar Ray Leonard.”

Saf i don't think you should worrying about what people are saying about this fight. I think you need to keep off these threads and just concentrate on Nasser and the fight. I didnt know you was Nasser's dad up until now so I do apologise if I've said anything that has disrespected you in anyway, but I just looked at it as being banter. I think it's very hard for you to be involved in these blogs because you'll be getting in to many urguments.... Mate you need to be focus. Nuff respect

Don't worry Mcato I am all business, I use this site to get interest in Nasser's fights and it works, both this site and facebook, it helped us sell a lot of tickets for the Jamie Ball fight and also attract sponsers, Nasser has around 4,000 fans on the Team Al Harbi site. Unlike someone like you who is a boxing fan and likes a bit of banter, some people come on to be nasty to other people, you have to take the rough with the smooth, some people seem to object to me as a father and trainer raising the profile of my son Nasser Al Harbi, it is a though these people have not had a proper relationship with their own father so resent father and son working in harmony relationships, I am not the only one as well who has experienced this other people in the industry have as well, does it bother me ? No, but I give as good as I get, maybe more lol. "Sheep" comes to mind, lets all hate a boxer who does not go on the forums, who most of them don't even know, who is well liked by people who have met him and complimented by people who have watched him train, spar and fight, including people in the industry, do I respect the opinions of these green eyed monsters ? No. I am very focassed, I have got Nasser in the shape of his life for this fight and we have not took the fight to lose, we expect to win, inshallah we will.

Well I think this is a good fight for Nasser as all the pressure is on the favourite. I know your out to win but even if Nasser performs well and loses he'll come out good like C Woodhouse. The only problem with high profile boxers like FG is that if he gets an oppertunity to fight for a belt he'll pull out so quick and the way some of these F....W.. bills are going nowadays you never if its on till the day of the fight. Could Nasser deal with another dissapointment of not fighting?

That's why I wondered why there has been no build up, no write ups, especially in Birmingham where both fighters are highly rated and everything Frankie does has mass media coverage, Frankie himself has not said much, which is unusual for a Birmingham match, in answer to your question, we have offers from abroad and I myself have ben asked to set up boxing academies in the UAE, boxing is going through bad times over here at the moment, Nasser has been avoided long enough now and ignored, even though he is only 22 we can't afford another dead year.

You are right, especially someone as high profile and talented as Frankie, as long as it is not racial abuse, as he has had on ESB. We have been waiting for a big fight like this, against one of the best, for a long time and Nasser can't wait to unleash himself in this fight, he has had to fight much bigger guys just to get a fight, so fair play to Frankie for taking this fight, Nasser is a fast, skilled, unbeaten and very big welter and I know Frankie's trainer deep inside will be worried about this fight, because he knows Nasser has real talent and great potential.
